    For me, knowing and accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior of my life here and in etrnity is all that matters. HE who is in me is greater than all that are in the world and the universe. Praise the Lord 🕊️

    Great video, as always. I never thought that finding intelligent life would disprove God. Discovery of "the new world" didn't disprove God. The discovery of dinosaurs, single celled organisms, other weird creatures... none ever disproved God's existence in any way. Why would aliens?

    I’m so glad I found this video. For the longest time I thought “if aliens are real then God wouldn’t be real so there wouldn’t be hope for the after life!” (showed how faithful I was), and then would almost have a panic attack each time. So thank you so much for making this🙏🙏🙏.

    Believing that aliens coming from outer space would disprove God's existence is like believing that evolution disproves God created the Universe. All it does is show there is more to God and life than we can ever know.

    It would be very strange if there were other intelligent beings on other planets who presumably would find out one day that the Creator of all (“All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made” John 1:3), became and will ever be one of his created beings, a human from planet Earth who is related to all other humans on planet earth, but is not related to them. We are trinitarian - we don’t believe God is other persons related to other planet beings, even if they don’t require redemption.
    Some other reasons I doubt there could be intelligent life out there:
    * The suffering from the curse due to the sin of Adam and Eve is upon all of creation - the universe. Would God cause other beings to suffer who were not under man’s dominion on earth? “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.” Romans 8:18-22
    * The timing of the new heavens and new earth is tied to earthly events.
    * The sun and stars were created on day 4, after the earth. The earth is special.

      Agree completely. I also think that Noah and the flood is evidence that there is no life outside of earth. Why would God destroy most of the earth (except for a few people and animals) and then repopulate the earth if there was/is life elsewhere in the universe?

      Aliens with spirits would need redemption,not just restoration. If they were morally perfect, they'd still need restoration.

    This is a good video, but it glosses over some important points. You touched on the fact that there is no evidence for other life, and a good point to make would have been the Anthropic Principle, aka fine tuning; the fact that the more we discover about the universe, they more we find more features that are so incredibly fine tuned, that any one of them being even the tiniest bit out of whack would mean that life could not exist at all anywhere. Also Hugh Ross does a great job in his book "Lights In The Sky And Little Green Men" discussing all what we call "UFO phenomena, and that yes, the very tiny amount of real experiences that can't be explained elsewhere can be explained, and they are not friendly beings, to put it mildly.

    • @SwolllenGoat
      @SwolllenGoat 7 месяцев назад

      so your god ISNT omnipotent?
      why would he NEED a 'fine tuned' universe?
      he could have made us all sentient snowmen living in a universe of fire had he chosen, and preserved us by his, you know, god magic
      another thought, eh?
      how do you know that the 'constants' could be different?
      maybe this is the only kind of universe that can be....................
      the fine tuning 'argument' is such hot garbage.......................................
      do better

    • @steve8918
      @steve8918 7 месяцев назад

      @@SwolllenGoatUmmm, not sure how fine tuning says anything about God’s omnipotence. And there is loads of evidence and studies showing how different values for many characteristics would make life impossible. The book mentioned in the video,”Rate Earth”, is a great example, and it shows how even non-Christian scientists understand this. I’m not sure why this upsets you so much, but I dare you to do better and find a better argument that actually fits the data.

    • @SwolllenGoat
      @SwolllenGoat 7 месяцев назад

      @@steve8918 kinda avoiding or missing the point
      IF the 'fine tuning' were different, some kinds of life might not be able to exist, depending
      I get it
      But my POINT is YOU DONT KNOW if the universe CAN be any other way
      maybe 'fine tuning' is an illusion and the only way a universe CAN be is what we observe
      sure, maybe it COULD be different and those different values would prevent life as we kno0w it from forming but YOU dont know that to be a POSSIBILITY
      the 'if' in your 'if the constants were different' is a blind stab in the dark, you have no idea if the constants CAN be different................
      and the christian god IS omnipotent
      if we are talking about a god that designed the UNIVERSE he could keep us alive in it no matter what it or we looked like
      a race of sentient snowmen in a firepit isnt a problem for a god that can do ANYTHING so why even bother with 'fine tuning' [if its even a thing]
      see NOW?
      fine tuning is a garbage argument for folks who either dont know enough physics to have an opinion or folks who have not thought it through..............

    • @SwolllenGoat
      @SwolllenGoat 7 месяцев назад

      btw referencing hugh ross isnt helping your case, eh?
      it just shows that you are not interested in the actual science..................

    • @steve8918
      @steve8918 7 месяцев назад

      @@SwolllenGoat Umm, ok, there are many false statements in your comment, and that's fine. I don't dwell in the world of "what if"; I just know how it is, and to be honest, I don't understand why you want to dwell in the "what ifs". The universe is the way it is, and there is data to show that the laws of physics have not changed since the Big Bang (the most thoroughly tested and confirmed theory that best explains the origins and expansion of the universe). Again, there are many, many things that have to be precisely in place for life to exist. A great example is that life has to be Carbon based, and that is one of hundreds. No matter how much you rage against it and make ad hominem attacks against those such as myself who dare to espouse it, the Anthropic Principle is something that gets proved more and more, not less and less, every day; even many non-Christians see it (see: Rare Earth). You're right in that I don't know everything, but I know enough based on the evidence that is it true, and that's all I can follow. If something were to come along to counter it, then I would consider it. I'm sorry it bothers you so much, but living in the world of "what if" solves nothing except escaping what is in front of your face. Have a nice day.
