- Warning: there are very fake but still shocking "accidents" in this vintage railroading film to scare railroad workers into following the safety rules.
There's also a thorough and close-up look at how to couple and uncouple train cars correctly.
And believe it or not, an appearance by former Middleweight Boxing Champ Ozell Dobbins!

Railroad training videos are better than most horror movies
I heard of guys caught between couplers and loved ones coming to say goodbye.before disconnecting the train 🙌
I recall being between cars lacing up an airhose one time when some FNG got on his radio and told the engine to take it ahead. He didn't last there very long.
Even though this video is old and out date, its totally practical today. First rule, Safety.
Thank you very much for sharing. For some reason I’ve never thought about looking around for Chessie system safety films, but man am I glad I found this!

Dang at 7 minutes it got brutal for a minute
I came here for boxing tips.
We used to hop on trains by our house for years, until this guy I know slipped on the rungs and instantly lost 3 toes!🦶🦶
You are not supposed to be train hopping either way. That is trespassing.
Safety comes first!
Nice, thanks for sharing
This is really good stuff
It was all fun and games till the guy put his hand on the track 😂
Cool
Ooo I love this shit
7:37 Jeez that got dark
Chessie System knew how to make Safety Films, damn
🤯🧐 108k 👍
this is a older film c & o went out of business in 84
Who is c&o?
C&O (Chesapeake & Ohio) was one of the three railroads that made up the Chessie System (the railroad featured in this video). The Chessie System eventually became what is known today as CSX. They are still in business today.
What year was this safety film made?
NOT a job for daydreamers...
