With a shorter blade you could also retract it to get it in the same position. This draw cut will have more power and will be able to cut through games gambeson material.

The maximum force is at the peak swing acceleration, switching direction leads to a loss of momentum and should not give more than 30% of the normal damage. The game lacks proper physics, as it does not matter where in the trajectory of the swing the hits are connecting. This is exactly where the game can progress (proper physics and damage modeling). Also a strategy would be to take some of those hits just to position for a devastating peak acceleration hit.
Why do you have to settle for the head? Is it possible to aim for the body? There are some people who like to crouch when they mess up their parry (like me) so they don't get hit on their head or upper torso.

sensitivity and dpi dont matter. turn cap locks it down. you want to move your mouse smoothly and at a medium pace. not swinging the mouse around or at a snails pace
This is painful to watch, i have 1000 hrs in mordhau and i didnt know this existed, I just play casually, but now I know why all my fav pros left, if shit like this is what they had to deal with in pro lobbies.
The reason it slowly dies is because new people bounce the fuck off when they see people do crazy shit they can’t perfect in less than 50 hours. It takes so much fucking time to at least be decent at Mordhau
yeah they need to add some sort of physics to the weapon where the damage is based on velocity, also make it so the flat hits do no damage so pickle would do very little because obviously the weapon is not going very fast in the opposite direction after putting effort into the first swing and cucumber would do nothing because it hits with the flat
I know this is necro af but that pickle drag seems impossible to me. My dragging isn't as fluent as yours in here, I just can't make that move to the right after I swing my weapon above my opponents head. The sensitivity restriction while dragging prevents me from doing it.
This is horsecrap! Mordhau was created to become what Chivalry couldn't -a medieval battle simulator that's as real as possible. The "pickle" drag is Chivalry BS and must be nerfed immediately.

i dont really get what's so bad about these, I never really played chiv but I saw videos of it where people are literally beyblades, these exploits are a joke in comparison... not to mention they have never fazed me in combat before, if someone gets me with them then I know they are going for them, and it's very easy to avoid afterwards
Cucumber drags are just gay looking. Pickle drags shouldn’t hurt heavy armored opponents unless a blunt object is used , and if momentum is less than X amount said blunt weapon shouldn’t damage the opponent at all during a pickle . The devs have created a great game , but it’s far from realistic like everyone was touting in the beginning of its life cycle . Would love to see these janky movements have actual negatives that would be present in real life , but at least Mordhaus multiple steps above other combat games already ...
@@Tinkuwu no it literally doesnt work the drags cant be manipulated as much I've spent a good amount of time practising on afks and it is definitely harder if you use tracers. In offline I can do it with a 99% success rate but in online it is more like 10% and they are both standing still.
