My wife sponsored the senior class at her high school in 1994 and this song was the theme. When we were making the video that would be played on a large screen at the prom, I probably heard this song 50 times during the process, and it is so good that I never got tired of it. Love it to this day. So great that Natalie is still knocking it out of the park. A true legend.
I bought In My Tribe in 1987 & 36 years later, Natalie's voice is as strong & beautiful as it was then. And her playfulness is - oh my God, I'm still in love. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love her with all my heart. She's so sweet and such a real person. I met her back in the 10,000 Maniacs days when she did her In My Tribe album. Her voice sounds the same today as it did then. Just amazing talent!!!!
That same year I saw Driving and Crying a to the old Roxy Theatre. Those were indeed the days. Man, that town has sunk into a funk from which it will never recover. At least we have the memories, right?
@@evermoreart You are right Victoria. This does make me unhappy. I prefer to remember NM at the height of her talent, creativity and beauty. She is squandering that legacy. Compare concert footage from the 90's.
I always stop to watch her dance 💃🏻
Natalie Merchant will never know the great amount of people asking me to broadcast this tune @ my radio shows in Perú!!! Although now....she knows it!
Nobody beats Natalie!💕🕊💕

Wow she has so much energy one of a kind Her voice is so strong
This woman's voice and spirit are ageless and unstoppable. It makes me so happy to see her still out there performing and enjoying the hell out of it.
Natalie Merchant is as classy as ever. ❤
Glad to see Natalie is out there doing her thing. A true original. Looks like it was a great show. Love her dancing. Great skirt work.
I love background vocals, too. I really like her way of singing.
She is my favorite singer of all time 🙏🏻👍❤️🎶
she definitely has a unique voice, like it a lot, one of my fav songs !!

+1. On cassette!
Absolutely Enchanting Performer .
Natalie is a Treasure.
Wow! She's still great, always loved her beautiful voice!

I absolutely love her dancing. It’s an expression of her confidence & freedom. 🙌🙌
I first saw Natalie perform with the `10.000 Maniacs in Atlanta in 1986. Those Were the Days! xo
Nicely rendered.
That same year I saw Driving and Crying a to the old Roxy Theatre. Those were indeed the days. Man, that town has sunk into a funk from which it will never recover. At least we have the memories, right?
She is amazing, still!!!!
. It was a powerful and moving experience.
Great show indeed!!!
A real woman, that I have followed as I my self have grown,... older.
Dancing is one thing, but dancing to your own music... !!! I think a lot of people go to watch here dance as much as they do to hear her sing.
Just saw her Fri night, st. Augustine Fl. Great performance.
Wow probably the best music with a focus on life, wellbeing, and exploitation
Que voz maravilhosa, única!
She sounds great!
Porfavor !!!!!! Por dios !!!!!!! Ven a la ARGENTINA!!!!!PLEASE!!!!!
A truly amazing voice always sounds the same over all the years with NO HELP, EVER!
Natalie has the Paul McCartney magic. She’s still got the mystic and the magic. Fabulous Woman. Wonderful artist. ❤
Wonderful
Always loved Natalie's energy....she is the soul of "White Girl Dance Moves" LOL.......
🥰
joyful
Who is her back up singer here? Great job
Natalie Merchant & John Prine would have been a great act.
I am one of the 10,000 Maniacs who would never leave her.
She's put on a few pounds...but still has the voice and dance moves! 😊
Love her!!! It's sad that she let herself go. She still sounds great though.
It's fantastic to let yourself go....go beyond stupid sexist ideas of how women should look and be.......way beyond
maybe you can help her looks , sweet baby james
@@52barney I would love to! She needs to give me a call.
Let herself go? What will u look like at 60 or so. Spoken like a thoughtless youngster.
These are no longer the days Natalie. In all kindness please let this be your farewell tour and let us remember the glory years.

she'll be singing at seventy........you'll be in a nursing home , wallowing in your bodily fluids
Sorry, you’re missing the joy she currently brings
I don’t see any kindness in this comment. Do you really expect her to be frozen in time from the ‘90s? Time moves on and people move on with it.
As Kenny R's said "You got to know when to fold'em."@@franko6677
I'd marry her.
She sounds great!
