Actually, Rage is the First band ever mixed metal and classic orchestra.
That's what wikipedia says but it ain't true. X Japan made Art of Life in '93 with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

@@onldhes If I'm not mistaken Celtic Frost was actually the first band to mix metal and symphonic arrangements with their album "Into the Pandemonium". The song "Dies Irae" by thrash metal band Believer is often considered one of the first real Symphonic metal songs, or at least, a prototype for the usual Symphonic metal.
Rage still is certainly a piooner of symphonic metal with their 1996 release "Lingua Mortis", playing with a live orchestra before other artists such as Nightwish, Rhapsody of Fire, Within Temptation, Stratovarius and Malmsteem.

Celtic Frost were the first Metal band back in 1987 to actually add classical elements (opera singer Anna Maria Mokri and classical elements (Track 'Rex Irae (Requiem)': ruclips.net/video/00TbGhB2JvE/видео.html)) into their album 'Into the Pandemonium'. (This record alone gave birth for the whole Gothic sub-genre that arose in the early '90s, Therion's Lepaca Kliffoth is strongly influenced by ITP, they even used Anna Maria Mokri on vocals as well) The same year, 1987, german progressive Thrash project Mekong Delta released its debut which included a cover of Modest Mussorgski's 'Hut of Baba Yaga' to be followed by the EP 'The Gnom' - a cover of Mussorgski's 'Gnomus'. On their 1988 release 'The Music of Erich Zann' then an instrumental 'Interludium' adding a real classical orchestra into the track, which was re-recorded for the 1989 EP 'Toccata' the track from Ginnestra, only to use the theme from Twilight Zone then on the 3rd record 'The Principle of Doubt' and so on. Accept used music from Tchaikovsky and Mozart on their 1985 title-track 'Metal Heart', while Candlemass covered for their 1987 record 'Nightfall' Chopin's 'Marche Funèbre'. Manowar 1982 Bass solo of Wagner's 'William's Tale', 1988 adding a 100 voices strong choir in 'Crown and the Ring', .... Metal is so deeply connected with classical music, actually based on it, that it's nearly un-logical that classic is not add or covered. There might even be earlier already a song that has classical parts in it, at least samples. So nothing with Rage or Metallica being first, but Rage was definitely the first one that added it to traditionally based metal and it was the first full release where the whole EP/record was metal combined with classic as a whole concept. Metallica's S/M was then 1 or 2 years later.

orchestra made a mistake
Peavey was about to start the verse too early, maybe the drummer did the "verse break" too early or peavey just lost his mind alone :D
It was the start, after the "one more" it comes the drums and down riffs... lack of coordination.
I hate Metal bands with orchestra and clean woman voices. BUT,LMO is so amazing.
