@@mariemmm3029 Thank you
I've learnt to speak 2 foreign languages fluently and I am on my way learning few more and I need to say that's the best lesson of counting I have ever seen, really helpful 👍💓

...mashallah - this is the simplest, clearest, most complete arabic number-counting video i've ever seen شكرا لك يا مها
Really..... I agree 100%. After spending 13 years in an Arab country, first time I learned this very easily. I am still learning but always felt ashamed when I spend time with local friends that I don't understand anything they talks and always they were forced to translate it for me or speaks in common language.
It’s pretty good! Also do check this that goes over the numbers fit more practice :) loving this video too though! ruclips.net/video/Q49fNob3urI/видео.html
Agree 100%

99 in some languages :
🇬🇧 : 90 + 9
🇩🇪 : 9 + 90
🇦🇪 : 9 + 90
🇨🇳 : 9 * 10 + 9
🇫🇷 : 4 * 20 + 10 + 9
Feel free to add yours too :)
I'm French and as far as I know we say "four twenty" for 80 because Gauls (Ancient people in France) used vigesimal (base-20) system to count and it stuck until now. It wasn't until I literally translated numbers like 88 to English with the French way (four twenty eight) that I realised how weird the system was.
But in other French speaking countries like Switzerland or Belgium, they have the "logical" noun (first the "logical" way and second the way used in France) :
70 : septante ("seventy") - soixante-dix ("sixty ten")
80 : huitante or octante ("eighty") - quatre-vingt ("four twenty")
90 : nonante ("ninety") - quatre-vingt-dix ("four twenty ten")
My Chinese is 9*10+9
九十九 (jiǔ shí jiǔ)
The first jiu and shi compared into ninety
(jiu means nine, shi means ten)
and second jiu means nine
→nienty nine😆😆
Portuguese: 90 + 9 (noventa e nove)
Turkish: 90 + 9 (doksan dokuz)
Would Change it to neufant et neuf
Ouuuh, I love the explanation. It's also one of my mother tongues and I didn't know why we say that.
I asked the Arab deli worker much my order cost, he said "ستة دولار"
I replied "oh 6 dollars?" He was so surprised lol
😄👏🏾
💞💞💞
i love it

You are beautiful and smart Maha. I love Arabic and it’s culture. I am a native Spanish speaker and I know Arabic has a lot of influence on Spanish language. Even though Arabic is harder for me to learn but nothing is impossible. Thank you for the videos. The year 2021 I wanna learn Arabic. I am also fluent in English because I live in the United States. Thanks for sharing!

I was reading a history book written by Ata-el-Mulk Juwaini in Farsi language on Mongol empires but all dates are in Arabic which I could not understand. Now I learnt Arabic numbers to understand the dates. I am very very thankful to you, Ms. Maha. Your beautiful presentations persuaded me to proceed in learning Arabic!
Isn't that something?

Energetic,smart teacher
great job thanks:*
So happy to have found your channel! i know two languages and want to learn Arabic to help my daughter with her Arabic lessons inshallah. 🤩Lots of Love from Turkey
As crazy as in (my native language) German. We also say 'one and twenty'. The Dutch do it as well. Only the French are even crazier! 😳
four twenties plus ten + nine, I don't see the problem, simple maths =D
jk
Well, french used to have a base 20 counting system, and now it's hybrid, hence the illogic
They multiply XD
I speak Afrikaans which is pretty much the South African version of Dutch and we say "een-en-twintig" which means "one and twenty"
Danish people are also quite crazy with how they count. To say "77" you say "syvoghalvfjerds" = seven and half fourths. ??What.??
@@Dylan_Nord 97 in french is Quatre-vingt-dix-sept. Which means Four Twenty Ten Seven. Its really weird
this is what wanted but very sample thanks maha
Dear maha, am a beginner for Arabic. On this lesson you teach me the basic information about to know Arabic numbers. Tnx a lots.
