*UPDATE:* Well so much for my expectations for Muramasa to come in early December. Lasengle just announced the Road to 7: LB6 Campaign and Banner to start on November 27th starting with Muramasa's rate up.
I promised myself to pass on the surprise GSSR because no one on it was near the top of my [W] list. But I succumbed to temptation and paid the $12 anyway. Got Arthur, one of my least wanted picks from the banner.... His FA's 3SQ got me Ishtar, whom I'd wanted since I started playing 4 years ago. His Rank Up, combined with the new Musashi Rank Up, gave me the 190 Rank Ups Master Mission SQ, which finally got me Umu Bride. So, I guess the succumbing worked out for the best, LOL. (Of course, I still don't save.)
Oh man...crazy how that all turned out. All from just giving into temptation and no doubt having buyers remorse after getting Arthur. But really glad it somehow ended up turning into getting both Ishtar and Umu Bride as well! So congrats on that! 🎉
After the gssr I decided to throw some SQ at a banner for fun and I got Illya out of nowhere lol. Your fgo content is great and rjx for always telling future banner dates.
I got lobo on Ishtar's banner and I got atalante on taira no kagekiyo banner. I also drew on the gssr and got my 2nd copy of Semiramis. I will never financially recover from this
I felt obligated to roll for another copy of Ishtar because Rin is the best. I did get her, but it took about 200SQ. RIP. She is now NP3, tho. When she comes back again, I will roll for her again. Same with Eresh and Space Ishtar. I will slowly work my way up to NP5 for all of them.
Congrats on getting your third copy of Ishtar! For me, 200 SQ for 1 SSR is a pretty good result lol And I'm completely with your about the Rin-faces. Wish you all the best in your journey to get them all to NP5!
@@FGOadventures Wasn't even just one SSR. I got my first Tamamo Spook, too from those rolls. So it was insane really. Means in a couple years when we get that free SSR ticket I don't have to worry about using it on Tamamo now.
Lots of gets here: -While going for Umu Bride, I got my final copy of OG Orion. As for the bride, I went the unconventional route and instead of upgrading her to NP3, I went ahead and turned this copy into level 70 esports copy, just like my esports Castoria. I did this mainly because during the recollection quests, she ended up tanking hits with her face and laughing when she was supposed to move off the field, so hopefully this helps for future fights. -after the announcement, days later, For my GSSR, I got Sherlock. As I have his level 90 copy and a level 1 esports copy, I went ahead and improved the level 90 copy. -The one Thanksgiving servant I really went for was Taira. She was the first servant that I hit pity on (followed by Space Ishtar, that very same calendar month of the same calendar year). I got her third copy from destiny order gssr on anniversary. I got 2 copies of her in 5 multis and I'm so happy as she's one of my favorite servants. -Then I threw a multi at the Musashi banner and got her first try, putting her at 6 copies. Again another favorite, and just like when I got her first 5 copies on my birthday during her download campaign, I'm glad to see that she still loves me. -Finally for the remaining banners, I managed to get 1 copy of Parvati and Emiya from their own banners, though for now, I'm not going to pursue them any further. For some unfortunate news, though maybe fortunate still, I will have to stop gacha spending for the next little while; mostly just helping with bills and the like. Thankfully, as there's no new servants till New Year's, that blow isn't quite so hard and I think it should help. In the same vain though, unfortunately, the Konosuba gacha, which is the only other one I've spent money on, announced End of Service at the end of January next year. Thankfully I've been able to skate by as f2p on that game since announcement, even with the new banners they put on global server. RIP in spaghetti, never forgetti.
Thanks for the recap on your gacha adventures! Glad to hear it went pretty well all things considered. Interesting point about turning your extra copy of Umu bride into an esports copy. I may need to consider that for the future lol. Nice going with your last two copies of Taira in just 5 multis...kinda balancing out that pity for her initial copy. And then to get that sixth copy of Musashi with just a multi is perfect. I totally hear you about needing to take a break from gacha spending. I'm currently in a similar spending freeze...well, I made an exception for the GSSR lol Sorry to hear about the Konasuba gacha game announcing their EoS. I suppose that's just how it goes for games like these and something we'll eventually need to contend with for FGO 😭
Part of me really wants the Summer BB for the time stop. But I am worried about how this might affect my rolls on future banners. She could easily cause a pity problem
A crazy set of banners. Lot of good characters in there. Glad that I have everyone I really want there. Artoria is a really nice AOE Saber, and I've nuked too many enemies with NP5 Illya! But think I'll pass this time. It's almost 2025 and characters like Draco and Summer Melusine will be here in no time.
After being off the game for a few months due to personal matters, I came back and, to my surprise, a GSSR was happening and I bought. I'm sorry for her fans, but I just didn't want okita alter.
I want Summer BB, But i realised i have worst luck with Moon Cancer class. It took me half pity just to get NP1 Arcueid While usually i can get NP2 rate up SSR less than 400 SQ. So, I'll just skip her for now
This one finally got Mysterious X Alter on the GSSR. Let's go! I must be strong now and resist the pull of banners. Draco is soon, and I want to not spend all the money to get her.
I’m going to hold on to that banner for a while but. I’m using my paid SQ on the Limited Servants on rotation, and I’ve actually have gotten success. Getting a DaVinci Rider drop.
Sorry for the late reply. If you have a reasonable amount of SQ on hand right now (like at least 300 SQ), then I would recommend rolling either for Oberon when he's available on December 12th or; Koyanskaya of Light who should be coming up in late December. Both of them are important support units that will make a solid foundation as you build up your roster. Oberon is more flexible with the types of servants he can work with and Koyanskaya is more specific to servants with Buster NPs. For a servant that will really benefit from your Castoria, then the SSR Avenger Nitocris Alter will be coming out around mid January. And she can be a good AoE Arts farming unit to use against nearly any class when paired up with double Castoria. Looking futher into 2025, around late April the SSR Beast Class Draco will be released and she will work very nicely with Castoria. Plus Draco can be effective against Saber, Archer, Lancers, Riders, Casters, Assassins, and Berserkers...giving her lots of flexibility. Then around August of 2025 there are a number of good servants to save up for. The SSR Berserker version of Castoria will be a really useful unit to have for a flexible single target unit. The SSR Ruler version of Melusine is another AoE Arts servant that will work really well with your Castoria. But probably a better choice would be the AoE Arts Berserker Summer Ibuki Douji. In actuality, there are a ton of good servants to roll for during the Summer event expected in August. So just keep summer in mind when you're saving up SQ.
