      Well said that man...There's just too many childish cretins wandering around RUclips, criticizing and mocking other people's efforts and achievements, and ridiculing their personal lives.... And we ALL know what type of bloke feels the need to broadcast their 'hatred' and utter 'disgust' for gay men... it's always the repressed gay man, the gay man living in utter denial, seething with anger, struggling with his own repressed homosexuality and desires...
      An ex-girlfriend of mine worked for a national newspaper in England, she worked as a 'researcher' - for want of a better word - in the sports department, researching for the paper's leading sports journalists, and Lennox Lewis being gay was one of those 'known' things, just like in the music business, 'everybody' knew, for example, about Elton John being gay, and they knew about George Michael being gay... and it's the same with Lennox Lewis.... Love to see any of these half-witted gay-bashers call him a 'fag' to his face.

How can a reporter be so emotionally attached to his sport and be so subjective when it comes to mma vs boxing... half your vids mention McGregor. Joe Calzaghe and Lennox Lewis were experts at picking opponents at the right time but no one complains about them.
    Calzaghe had a very unimpressive career, and the only big names on his resume came against men who were well past their prime.
    Bernard Hopkin, Nigel Benn, Steve Colin's, Chris Eubank, Roy Jones, Robin Reid.. Etc...Calzaghe went on to defend his belt against the likes of Omar Sheika, Mario Veit, Charles Brewer, Byron Mitchell, Kabary Salem, and Evans Ashira. None of these opponents ever came remotely close in their career to being a top-level fighter.
    Lewis will most likely go down as one of the most intelligent, calculated champions ever. Lennox was able to capitalize on Tyson's jail term to reign as champion, then got out before the Klitchko brothers could undo the legacy he has manufactured for himself. He stayed an extra 4 years as an amateur to win a gold metal against younger opponents (Riddick Bowe for the medal bout). He then became champion only because Bowe gave up the title. He backed out of Tyson's way (accepting a huge multi-million dollar payoff from Don King as payment for Tyson taking his ranking) as he was climbing back up to regain the championship that was handed to him. I believe that history will judge him for the fake that he truly is.

    when my mom or grandma see me watching mma they think it's gay and they say boxing is a manly sport. I realized that their are a lot of idiots that think like they do. I love both sports but mma is way more entertaining to me and it bewilders me to hear people say boxing is more manly than mma.

      @darbycrash4512 8 лет назад

      I grew up in a latin culture where Boxing is King. I try to show the older generation how great MMA is but they will just not accept it. They think it has no honor because you keep hitting the fighter when he's hurt. The younger generation is on board though and enjoy it much more than Boxing. It's the future of combat sports.

    • @Christopher-mn6re
      @Christopher-mn6re 8 лет назад

      Darby Crash I agree and I think that's why boxers are biased towards mma fighters because they know boxing is old news

    • @darbycrash4512
      @darbycrash4512 8 лет назад

      Chris Y Boxing is slowly killing itself. I use to love Boxing, grew up watching and attending matches. Saw Holyfield, Chavez, De la Hoya all fight live. But I got sick of all the bad decisions, crooked promoters... Boxing is also not promoting new stars like they use to and if kids don't get into boxing young, then they don't become fans. UFC and MMA in general are marketing and promoting the sport correctly. Plus MMA is more exciting than Boxing anyway. Its a sport that doesn't encourage decisions and thats a good thing.

    • @Christopher-mn6re
      @Christopher-mn6re 8 лет назад

      Darby Crash yes like you said boxing needs to promote their events better because most of the time I don't know there's a fight coming up till I see it on tv. ufc advertises their fights everywhere

Here's a tip ask a question: What do you think about Conor using your move in the octagon? then shut up and let him answer. What you did, Conor used your move in the octagon but he was 15 feet away.....SMFH that's a statement CS not a question.....

    • @k.mckenzie2706
      @k.mckenzie2706 8 лет назад

      JWCFIGHTFAN To fight under set rules and restrictions makes it 'the man sport'? 'Okay we will fight it out like men, but you can't do this, this and this..'
      GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE.
      Here is a prime example of the dominance MMA holds over boxing- if you put Conor mcgregor in a cage with Floyd mayweather, Floyd will NOT last. If you put Conor in a ring against Floyd, most likely Conor would NOT be able to last. Keeping that in mind, if you put them in a cage/ring with no set rules, Floyd would DIE.
      Boxing is a dying sport and the biggest headline it can make is when they bring up an MMA fighter stepping into the boxing world against Mayweather, lol.

    • @starkzwillig3682

    • @k.mckenzie2706
      @k.mckenzie2706 8 лет назад

      Uneducated comment Stark Zwillig. This is whats wrong with most of you boxing fans, its always gotta be 'the best'. You can't just accept MMA is obviously superior in every aspect, and if it really came down to competition of humping people, boxers would win with the hugging it out and taking breaks mid fight.

  • @infonator1
    @infonator1 8 лет назад

    I think these guys are behind the times. The UFC guys don't run and dance like Mayweather. Mayweather is not a Mike Tyson. He's a great bicyclist! riding his bike in a boxing match. Come on Mayweather your not gonna win against a super dominant striker. So don't take the McGregor fight. Go out like Seinfeld. Undefeated!

      infonator1 that's y they don't last long in the sport. Floyd has fought for majority of his life more than 80% of it. mma fighters don't last 10yrs on top of the sport. Stop comparing the 2. it's impossible. delusional to the highest form. you people are the worst..
