Really, really dope. That drill press move made me clench haha! I guess you could have burned the inside to hollow it out like making a bush craft cup but that would have taken forever. Thanks for not making a Volcanic Eruption Vuvuzela.

Haha yes Vuvuzela. I was getting soaked so I had to cut that short.

I've been thinking about making one of these actually for a while, now I have to give it a try

Pick a better way to hollow it out. My way was stupid. I've seen people build them as segmented pieces and glue them up, then turn them round on a lathe. Thanks for checking this one out.

@@FlippinRejects well my setup provides its own challenges, but i think it would be a fun challenge

Cool idea but six weeks is a long time with just a stick lol although it is a cool stick

Wow that's beautiful !!! I don't have a drill press or saws so I work with bamboo for my rain sticks which can all be done without power tools but the wood one is really prettier. I also put my caps inside the bamboo pole because I'm worried glue won't be strong enough to hold it over the outside but again your way looks much much nicer.. Can you please tell me what kind of glue you use to secure your caps ?
