YES! E85 is the bomb on my STI. You should install fenolic spacers while you are doing the TGV's. I can touch the intake manifold and it's not even hot after ripping it for an hour. You will need the AOS lower than the radiator cap to burp the system without the black plastic coolant tank I think.
Maybe powder coat the intake manifold to match the color of the brakes that’s how mine is and also have the intercooler piping the same color as well just a suggestion but love the vids!!!

Awesome Devin 😁, so excited, really looking forward to see how Gary turns out, and curious how long the stock EJ257 will block last. that stock short block bottom end is obviously a concern and the weak point, rods, bearing, pistons only a matter of time before it fails, with head gasket too a likely be failure point, really does needs a forged bottom end and some ARP headbolts to compliment all the other goodies you bought for Gary and make it bullet proof, but hey you already know all that 😁. If it comes to that looking forward to seeing you build the engine, My bet for failure is rod Knock-knock-knock 😉, but hey that Subie life lol, in any case I know you then will build it bigger and better ❤️
You won't be able to turn up the Blue evo anymore on E. You're going to just make extra torque the more Hp you go for. Stock block and 400ft lbs is all you want to do. Plus having the 6 speed if you go E I would just be doing it for the reliability of not running 93 octane at 30psi
Just get a short block from outfront motorsports, would hate to see you build it all then blow it first week in. Don’t know if bob will get rid of it but then you’ll also be able to go back to stock pretty easily for smog or sale

@@iampyron22 agreed it's not required at that powrr level but it's not an expensive swap and does flow better and looks much nicer 😂. Pretty sure it removes the TGV too so you don't actually need TGV deletes

You can route the coolant tank hard line that's under the inlet back to the radiator nipple you capped off keep that loop going.
