    This is a very powerful podcast by the founders and leaders of the current technology company king in the nation, Gojek.
    Not only this will educate a lot of external people and straighten up misconception about how to grow a new modern young company, but as well strengthening and internalizing the core values from the their mind to the employee who are currently work in Gojek, and more importantly as well attracting more talent to work in this greatest Indonesian Internet company by far, listening to the leaders who share great minds like this.
    Super brilliant move! Looking forward to watch the next episode. Next week please. 🤪

    Just found it and felt like gone through all of the founders journey so far. Blessed like attending hundreds conferences and TEDs. Truly love this unpolished conversation. Thank you so much for creating this podcast and looking forward for the next and next episodes, Mr. Minister of Culture and Education, GOJEK founders, and all involved teams as well. Please tell us more about the bitter truths of being a human at that level. Disrupt our mindset, point of view, education, and culture so we can create a new better normal for the better of our beloved country future 👍

    Greats insights!
    Nadiem seems really excited to fire the “just OK” people, haha.
    Interested to understand what “scaling with the company” means. For instance lets say for an engineer, a business intelligence person, and a strategy person: what is “not scaling” for each them? Is it simply not keeping up with the pace of the company, or not expanding their scope of work and responsibilities, or something else?
    Also, from this video I’m guessing that these terms are used a lot in Gojek: “scale”, “10x”, “hyper-growth”, “aligned”, “superstar”, “impact”, “OKR”. Hope you guys can discuss more in-depth for each in the next podcast.

    I hope gojek will put their feet and involved on social engineering such as fixing our driving habit. I'm still seeing many of gojek drivers are still disobeyed the basic ethics on riding on the public road such as driving against the verboden or one-way road. thank you

    Somehow after I listened to this podcast, I feel more confident Nadiem will thrive in his new position. You can dream high as well as placing step-stone one by one to achieve it, and do an evaluation in the middle of a whirlwind of work. Good luck, Mr. Nadiem!

    Amazing leadership from brilliant guys who unashamedly share insights surrounding their failures, and successes. There is a tremendous amount of learning from listening to Nadiem, Kevin, and Andre, who expressed their views, not in any sophisticated way, but rather in a simple real time situational analysis of experience in growing their company, makes understanding and comprehension much more easier, and the rationale for their decisions and actions much more logical and transparent - the best entrepreneurial education online - particularly for start ups. The very best to you guys, and welcome to Malaysia GoJek.

  • @calvin1252
    @calvin1252 3 года назад +1

    The session doesn't address the asymmetrical relationship between founders and employees though. It is easy to talk about hiring people better than yourself when you're a founder, it is also relatively easy to talk about letting people go as a founder when as Nadiem said "you can't exactly fire yourself". Maybe if founders could be judged on objective metrics, and equally be on the chopping board, there would be more buy in on the proposals mentioned.
