Spinning Fishing Reel - Restoration | Workshop DC
This is a restoration of an Old Spinning Fishing Reel.
The Reel have about 15 years old.
In this restoration I had to work on paint, sanding, cleaning, bluing and replace some parts that has some damage.
The problem inside this Reel was the hangs that didn't held when the fish is hooked making the line leting go away.
This restore job took me 2 weeks to be done. The owner wanted that color painting because fishes may be scary when then see some thing with different color then usual.

Paint cost more then duh reel itself.
Just wondering where you bought that part from??
I bought that part in a store that sell old reels for replacement pieces.
Mmmh, you wrong a lot of passages, the drag eared washer position it is middle, and then...why you don't oil the felt discs? Second: the bearing lubrication you have to do before mount not after! Gears need only few grease amount and fast mecanism need just a oil drop...just a cheap reel whit new colours...

Вы совершили очень много ошибок при сборе катушки. Категорически неправилно смазали все детали. И вы использовали не подходящую смазку. Я считаю вам нужно поучится у более опытных мастеров.
must be in some 3rd world country, that reel wasn't worth the grease you put in it
