Home Free is a rabbit hole well worth the journey. They won the fourth season of “The Sing Off” . Shawn Stockman was one of the judges. He loved them. If you like the old school feel, definitely check out “When A Man Loves A Woman”.
That's the the thing it used to be a rabbit hole, but now it really is more like the grand canyon or as you say like a fault line given how big their song catalogue has become including covers and their own original songs. Plus that's not including the songs they're doing on their own individual channels and their collaborations with other singers like Peter Hollens and The Fox and the Hound. And they're not slowing down their output.
Shawn was one of the judges when Home Free won the Sing Off. Home Free is one fine rabbit hole if you’re willing to go down it. You will not be disappointed
The jazz magazine "downbeat" had a category on their polls called "Talent Deserving Wider Recognition". Regardless of how much recognition Home Free gets they would still top that list. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole! Here for it!
"If you take any two humans from any two places on the planet, they'll always have more things in common than they do different" - Tim Foust (bass for Home Free). Tim says this at the end of their video for "Everybody Walking this Land". What you said at the start made me think of this. You are a beacon of positivity and light! The world needs more of this. Enjoyed the reaction immensely. A definite new sub here. Thanks!!
Young man....loved your reaction and the message you are sending out. Shaun of Boys to Men was a judge the year Home Free won it. Keep sending out those positive vibes.
These guys are amazing, the best acapella band out there. They lean to country but sing all genre's. Suggestions... Amazed, Dive Bar Saints, How Great Thou Art, One-man band
These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre including R&B. Rob sang this with so much soul. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. Tim is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer Adam can simulate any sound. Keep up your journey through Home Free. You will not find a bad song.
The Butts remix , Elvira with the Oakridge Boys, Children, go where I send thee with Kenny Rogers. Enjoy the ride, no instruments all sound is from their voices
They're an a capella group. No instruments besides their voices. They have a beat boxer that's fkn AMAZING! And their bass is phenomenal. You need to check out... Man of Constant Sorrow The Butts Remix (a fun one all about butts😁) When a Man Loves a Woman My favorites from them❤
Home Free is ALL accapella. Everything is vocals no instruments. They were on Season 3 of the Sing Off. Shawn was one of the judges and he fell in luv with them. You are on a ride now!! 😃 Check out their Butts Medley, In the Blood...there are sooo many!!! Love your appreciation and reaction!!!
If you like Temptations, react to Home Free “Blue Ain’t Your Color”…one of their best. Another great song is “I Can’t Outrun You “…5 part harmony at it’s best.
Welcome to the Home Free A Capella group. All vocal no instruments. Buckle up you're on your way to the Home Free rabbit hole. Few suggestions, When a Man Loves a Woman, Butts Remix, Man of Constant Sorrow, One Man Band. No matter the song you pick of the over 150 songs you won't be disappointed.. Great reaction!!
As a 57 year old white nurse, I didn't even need to hear your reaction, I subscribed instantly by the message you want to spread, I have wished this for the world since I was a young girl. You GO spread your joy! :) and your message
New subscriber! Home Free brought me here, but your fantastic reaction and words of encouragement will bring me back! And Home Free😊 5 of the most talented guys in music in my opinion. Best acapella group, in my opinion. Check out their cover of the OJays "Love Train" it is amazing! And welcome to your Home Free journey! Thank you for your reaction and stay safe and healthy and have a blessed day!
Dude…..I’m blown away by these guys every time. Man of Constant Sorrow is a mind blowing one too….need a giggle? The Butts Remix or their cover of All About That Bass….they’re almost as talented as Tom.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole, sir! When a Man Loves a Woman, The Butts Remix, Hillbilly Bone, Ring of Fire, Man of Constant Sorrow, Mayday, are really good choices to follow up this video. Everybody Walkin' This Land will appeal to you as well. The did a cover of Love Train, too. Enjoyed your first listen to Home Free! Keep on keepin' on, man!
God power, Amen Brother! Welcome to the homefree rabbit hole. As was mentioned, When a Man Loves a Woman, they do Percy Sledge justice. Music I was raised on too.
You can't pick a bad song from these guys all of their songs are great. In "Country Fried Pop" everyone has short solos and the video shows the silly side of Home Free.
I can’t wait to see your reactions to Home Free. Please don’t do Mayday until you have watched at least 5 songs from them. Your reaction will be much better, believe me! Love you man!
Appreciated your appreciation of Homefree. So so talented. Also appreciated what you said about our ‘gifts’. You have a positive message. Keep sharing that message. The world needs it so much!
Yahoo! I knew you'd love them!!!! ❤ That huge smile was so wonderful to see!! Oh boy, they have SO many songs! In so many genres! I'm sure "Man of Constant Sorrow" has been mentioned. "When a Man Loves a Woman" is very good, as is "How Great Thou Art." Oh! "My Church" is good, too! One of my absolute favorites is "Hillbilly Bone." Johnny, there are so many! And you really can't go wrong with any of them. The first few are ones that I know you'll enjoy. PS: you know they're a capella, right? The drum set is the guy in the back on the left. All of us Home Fries will be happy to point the way and give you any information you'd like! But you asked for songs this time. 😉 #HOGFry #homefry #homefree #roblundquist #austinbrown #timfoust #adamrupp #adamchance
Thanks for the reaction and the singing along! I think you might do Love Train, How Great Thou Art, Can't Stop This Feeling, and Undivided. I just found Home Free lately myself and am so blessed to hear all their songs 🎵 🙏
Really enjoyed your reaction. These men do everything from Gospel to silly funny. Try "Blue Ain't Your Color" . All sounds are from their voices, no instruments.
Take a look at their covers "In the Blood", "Brothers in Arms" and "Man of Constant Sorrow". These are on the more serious side. You won't be disappointed. They also have a lot of fun songs. Enjoy!
Love Homefree!! they are amazing. they have a lot of covers, haven't heard a bad one yet. their originals are great too. When a man loves a women, land of the free, undivided, in the blood, country fried pop medley are good ones
You might like their cover of Percy Sledges "When a Man Loves a Woman"....... Blue Ain't Your Color is another soulful song. They have a new video dropping tomorrow that'll show you their fun side. Great reaction....love your positive out look. Thanks
This may be a rabbit hole you never exit. They are amazing. One song that doesn't get much play I think you will really relate to. "Everybody Walkin This Land". The message at the end from Tim is powerful.
Loved the reaction to this song. Home Free is an amazing. They are the only acapella Country Band out there. They don't always sing country. There are so many suggestions on the music to try and you can't go wrong with any of it. So, instead of adding another song for now, here is who they are. Start at the front of the singing group, left to right...Tim Foust from Southeast Texas...bass and then so much more...did cut his hair during the pandemic...Rob Lundquist (The Beard) from Minnesota...tenor...Austin Brown from Georgia...high tenor...in the back, left to right...Adam Rupp from Minnesota...beatboxer/percussionist...amazing...Adam Chance (goes by Chance) from Alabama...baritone/bass. With some of the songs you will see Chris Rupp, the beatboxer's brother, lots of time Chris will have on a Cowboy hat. Chris left to go out on his own and is doing well. I know that was long, but it will put you kinda on point on who these amazing men are. Thanks again, happy. (subscribed and liked :) )
Thank you so much for reacting! The Home Free fan's are called Home Fry's! Your subs are going to rise exponentially when they find out you are reacting to our favorite guy's! May I please suggest - " WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN" cover of Percy Sledge " LOVE TRAIN " cover of The O' Jay's " MAN OF CONSTANT SORROW" From the George Clooney movie O Brother Where Art Thou. " EVERYBODY WALKING THIS LAND " " CANT STOP THE FEELING" cover of Justin Timberlake " HILLBILLY BONE "cover" of Trace Adkins Thank's again and welcome to the family of Home Free and the Home Fry's (no invitation needed, if and when you decide you are a fan then you are a Home Fry) and we would love to have you! Just subscribed! Love your positive vibes! Love you from South Georgia!😀♥️🍟
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole, my brother - a deep well of a capella joy. We Home Free followers proudly call ourselves Home Fries, and if you do them justice in your reviews (as you did here), we will subscribe in droves. We love to see the reactions to these songs! Try Man of Constant Sorrow next, and there will be all kinds of other suggestions - but DON'T do Mayday until you know the group and everybody in it very well! Brothers in Arms is another good and very new release song they did. Happy listening! I am looking forward to more from you soon!
These guys are amazing. They do all genres of music. You mentioned the O' Jay's, check out Home Free's cover of Love Train. It is awesome. Great reaction.
"Working for a Living" I suggest this just to help you get to know their names. "Everybody Walkin this Land" because it seems up your alley. "Dive Bar Saints" because it's just that good. "Love Train" O'Jays, enough said. Brett's wife
I danced with you. Home Free took this to another planet. I grew up on Boys To Men and never dreamed anyone could move me with this song, but Home Free did it their way. BTW your positive spirit makes my day...loved your reaction to this epic song. Let your cup keep overflowing with blessings.
No one's been hiding them; they came to national attention while competing on NBC's competition program, 'The Sing Off' in 2013 (Spoiler: They won). While styling themselves as a C/W a capella group, they've proven they can cover nearly any genre. I think you'll also like their cover of "Blue Ain't Your Color", where they take on some Temptation-style moves.
Hey, Johnnie! I love your words, the message, and you will LOVE Home Free because they are our the same understanding. They are authentic, beautiful human beings sharing love, joy and absolutely astonishing music with the world. You can't go wrong with these guys whichever and song you pick next, because even if the song or the genre isn't your favourite these guys have a way of infusing their souls into everything they do. They also love and appreciate their fans more than any other artist I've come across and we love and appreciate them to the point that we, The Home Fries, are well-known within the music industry for how we support our guys. It's a win-win-win. They win, we win and the world wings because of all the amazing thoughts and feelings created thanks to their music and their personalities. I agree with you, btw, the world is far from as divided as media is making it out to be, and when we choose to see the unity, feel the love and the joy, and when we decide to step out of what we thought we knew about humanity and life and choose to see what we now know instead we begin to understand how powerful we all are in our own existence. Thank you! 🥰🙏 I've definitely subscribed and an ready to join you on this journey. You will be amazed over and over again, because they just keep getting better. Speaking of, they recently released the song Amazed, also covered by B2M, and they completely own it now a far as I'm concerned. 😁
I only know of two other artists that appreciate their fans as much as Home Free. Obviously I'll mention Perter Hollins but, someone who rivals and might even surpass Home Free is Tom MacDonald. Home Free (and Peter) have enlisted their fans to help in videos, which is amazing but, Tom wrote a song in tribute to his fans and then put about 14 minutes of fan shorts into the video (it ends up being an 18 minute song). All of them are amazing artists but since Tom is rap, Peter is everything but a lot of pop, and Home Free is broad as well but with a country focus, for me, it all comes down to what I'm in the mood for
@@carinalindberg7377 Did you mean to say, "As an American"? Either way I think I understand (though it's two different meanings) but if you are not apposed to rap I'd suggest trying out Castles, Cancer, Angels, Ashes to Ashes, I wish, Withdrawls. Non of those are about America or politics. If you're not into rap, then never mind. (IF you try those and like them, try My Fans just to see what I mentioned)
@@carinalindberg7377 Just don't miss any Home Free for it. I love Tom but I'm relatively new to rap. On the other hand, I'm from Minnesota right near Rob and Adam (and where HF started) so I'll always stand for them PS I hope they get to perform where you are soon. The only thing better than a HF song is a HF live concert!
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. Many people will recommend you watch their cover of Mayday (perhaps their best). Resist with all you might watching Mayday until you have watched at least a half dozen of their other videos and know what each members voice will sound like by sight (before they start singing). Only thin will you be as impressed with Mayday as you should be. As a suggestion for a set of their songs that can help you on your way try: Auld Lang Syne, How Great Thou Art, Man of Constant Sorrow, and Die a Happy Man (even their beatboxer gets a line in How Great). But to see the boys sense of humor watch The Butts Remix, Champagne Taste (an original), and All About the Bass (but watch Trainor's original first for full enjoyment). Some of their other great vids are: My Church, Can't Stop the Feeling, In the Blood, and Blue Ain't Your Color. Well all of them are really good this is just a selection of my favorites that pop to mind. Have fun in the warren.
Johnnie, the topics you cover and issues you tackle daily are so damn important BUT we all need some joy now and then. I had a feeling you would enjoy this and I'm glad you took the time to simply relax and enjoy! I'm expecting a few smiles on this one
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole, the Home Fries are here to take this journey with you!! Love it when someone new discovers Home Free and with your positivity and smiling face you'll have lots of new subscibers.. I just subscribed and would like to see you react to Everybody Walkin This Land, be sure to watch to the end of the video, there is a special message from the bass singer Tim Foust. It's something everyone should hear and everyone should take this message to heart and live it!!
i see them whenever they come within 300 miles of me and they are even better live. can't go wrong with anything they do and i highly recommend one of adam's "drum solo" videos to really see how amazing he is at beatboxing. p.s. i'd like to believe i can do anything but i really sound like 2 cats in heat fighting under a traffic cone when i try to sing! if you want subscribers more home free, we homefries are loyal and MANY
New sub for more Home Free ! So many songs listed that I hope you react to. There is no bad song from them! Thank you also for the positive words. We all need positivity!
Great reaction! You are a breath of fresh air and you give excellent advice! I just subscribed and hope to see more Home Free.r I love it when people discover Home Free. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, One Man Band, I Swear, and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole! Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Robb Lundquist (beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016.
You have a great introduction to Home Free. There is a long list of their songs, of many genres. These guys are multi-talented. Keep in mind that they are an a capella group. This is four voices and a beatbox. Everything created with their voices. Enjoy the journey!
Adam Rupp, the vocal percussionist with no voice training, just mentioned some site where he went to work on his singing. He's apparently only been working on it for a few months and now feels comfortable in his ability to sing. Hope you can find it. He did an interview one of the reactors.
I love your reaction. If you want beautiful harmony and scenery watch them sing HOW GREAT THOU ART. EVERYBODY WALKING THIS EARTH is great and has a wonderful message that needs to be shared. Thanks for the reaction.
In 2013 Home Free won the Sing-off. Shawn Stockman was one of the judges and he was amazed at the talent of this group. He also sent congratulations when this video was released. ❤️
Anything Home Free covers is well worth a listen. I appreciate your positive attitude and outlook. The world right now needs more voices like yours. I’ve been a elementary school teacher for over 30 years what you’ve shared is spot on. Your parents can be very proud of the fine young man they have raised.

@@DyvmSlormThey have more? 😄 Just kidding, of course they would. But seriously I didn't know they had that many albums and songs! That's awesome you created a spreadsheet. You are a true Home Fry. Now there is no excuse for a reactor not to react to their songs as they are readily available for whomever you choose to give your list to and believe me as I'm sure you already know we Home Fries are some of the most loyal fans ever. I know all of us would love to see reactions done to songs we haven't heard so your list is extremely important! Thanks again for posting it 💻📚🙂👍
@@annb9422 Yeah, the spreadsheet is a google list that separates them into releases under SME and Others (mostly Orchard) HF owns Orchard while SME is Sony. The SME songs might get blocked while the Orchard ones are safer and, I've been told, likely to only get a claim if that. Plus Orchard will likely release if asked but I'm not as sure about SME. (Reactors understand all this better than I can explain it)
Us in Alaska have known and listened to Home Free for years.... They play at our little rinky dink fairs for a long time, glad you get to finally enjoy their music
Welcome to the Land of the Home Frys. It was a joy seeing your reaction to this cover. Home Free doesn't have a bad cover. Everything people have posted are great covers and fun to watch.

Was coming here to tell him about Love Train also!

I like the song in the blood they do . It gave me chills. Beautiful.
"Working for a Living" I suggest this just to help you get to know their names.
"Everybody Walkin this Land" because it seems up your alley.
"Dive Bar Saints" because it's just that good.
"Love Train" O'Jays, enough said.
Brett's wife
This is awesome Johnnie!
Thank you! 🥰🙏
I've definitely subscribed and an ready to join you on this journey.
All of them are amazing artists but since Tom is rap, Peter is everything but a lot of pop, and Home Free is broad as well but with a country focus, for me, it all comes down to what I'm in the mood for
@@DyvmSlorm As an American I don't relate to much of Tom's songs, but I appreciate that he seems to have a big heart.
@@DyvmSlorm I meant as a non-American 😁. Thanks, I'm not opposed to rap so I'll check those out. 🥰🙏
@@carinalindberg7377 Just don't miss any Home Free for it. I love Tom but I'm relatively new to rap. On the other hand, I'm from Minnesota right near Rob and Adam (and where HF started) so I'll always stand for them
PS I hope they get to perform where you are soon.
Great minds Betty. I didn't see your comment until after I left mine. :-)
I was going to suggest the same, so instead I'll suggest " County Fried Pop " a little bit of singing from everyone and shows their silly side.
Check out Home Free "God Bless the USA" featuring Lee Greenwood. Just subbed.
You are now an official Home Fry ❤
Home Free are a great bunch of guys who are eat up with talent and this is a rabbit hole you need to go down you won't regret it at all.
i see them whenever they come within 300 miles of me and they are even better live. can't go wrong with anything they do and i highly recommend one of adam's "drum solo" videos to really see how amazing he is at beatboxing. p.s. i'd like to believe i can do anything but i really sound like 2 cats in heat fighting under a traffic cone when i try to sing! if you want subscribers more home free, we homefries are loyal and MANY
Hahaha too funny about the cats 🤣🐈🐈
New sub for more Home Free ! So many songs listed that I hope you react to. There is no bad song from them! Thank you also for the positive words. We all need positivity!
Great reaction love your personality. Try their cover of soul train . Lots of fun.
They have about 200 covers it seems. Enjoy your journey.
I love the part when Tim Foust does his bass thing. The look on the unsuspecting virgin listeners of Home Free is worth the wait.
So glad you found Home Free!
You are going to love these beautiful voices!
These men are simply, EPIC.
I was singing with you the entire time, old-school memories! Thanks, I Needed the message of love and positivity that you are sending out today.
Home Free original - "Snow Globe"
You are going to love Home Free there are dozens and dozens of songs like that from them. They are simply the best group out there!🐝🤗❤️
Love these guys can do it all try WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN. ONE MAN BAND. CANT STOP THIS FEELING so many good ones have fun
Love your faith and positive attitude. Thank you my new counselor!
Great reaction ~ love your positive message ❤️
You have a great introduction to Home Free. There is a long list of their songs, of many genres. These guys are multi-talented. Keep in mind that they are an a capella group. This is four voices and a beatbox. Everything created with their voices. Enjoy the journey!
You are right sir, we are not divided! Music always paves the path.
Best!... Reaction!... Ever! These boys have heart and country soul. You have no idea what you are in for. Good message! Keep it up!
Love some Boys II Men and HOMEFREE makes it sound so good…in a country soulful way. 😊
Adam Rupp, the vocal percussionist with no voice training, just mentioned some site where he went to work on his singing. He's apparently only been working on it for a few months and now feels comfortable in his ability to sing. Hope you can find it. He did an interview one of the reactors.
Once you go down Home Free rabbit hole , there's no coming back .💜💜💜💜💜💜
What a refreshing take on music and life. And such an articulate young man.
There are no instruments all voices these guys are amazingly talented.
We feel the power of music together. bravo!
They are on fire. More please. World class beat boxer
You're about to go on a journey and it is a great one! Have fun learning the beauty of an all acapella extremely talented group of wonderful souls.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole enjoy the ride and us home fries will be there with you all the way
Home Free considers themselves country A cappella but, as you've discovered, are much more. They do, however, have a definite country flare.

Wow, nice list 🙂👍🌷
@@annb9422 hehe I have those albums but know I missed a bunch including all the great Christmas songs. I just wish I'd had a spread sheet (well could find the one I have )
@@DyvmSlormThey have more? 😄 Just kidding, of course they would. But seriously I didn't know they had that many albums and songs! That's awesome you created a spreadsheet. You are a true Home Fry. Now there is no excuse for a reactor not to react to their songs as they are readily available for whomever you choose to give your list to and believe me as I'm sure you already know we Home Fries are some of the most loyal fans ever. I know all of us would love to see reactions done to songs we haven't heard so your list is extremely important! Thanks again for posting it 💻📚🙂👍
@@annb9422 Yeah, the spreadsheet is a google list that separates them into releases under SME and Others (mostly Orchard)
HF owns Orchard while SME is Sony. The SME songs might get blocked while the Orchard ones are safer and, I've been told, likely to only get a claim if that. Plus Orchard will likely release if asked but I'm not as sure about SME.
(Reactors understand all this better than I can explain it)
@@DyvmSlorm Oh yeah, I never thought of that, that there are certain copyright restrictions reactors have to abide by which I have no clue about lol 🤔. Maybe they will be able to figure it out but I think from what you said some will be okay. But I can't even talk on this as it wouldn't make sense lol 😄 ©️.
I love you, young man! You are speaking goodness and promise. Thanks for the dance!
Us in Alaska have known and listened to Home Free for years.... They play at our little rinky dink fairs for a long time, glad you get to finally enjoy their music
Home free are AMAZING!! Great reaction ❤🔥
I remember Poppin this tape in as a kid back in the day. So many good tunes from that period.... They completely nail this.
These guys are so fantastic!!!!! I think they are vastly underrated
Love your spirit and positivity. Keep on keeping on.🙏🙏🙏
Welcome to the Land of the Home Frys. It was a joy seeing your reaction to this cover. Home Free doesn't have a bad cover. Everything people have posted are great covers and fun to watch.
These guys have done several great songs. Have fun getting to know them.
They do an amazing cover of “Love Train” by the O’Jays. Just a suggestion 😁
Mr. Calloway, you always speak the truth. May all God's Blessings come to you and everyone you love.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole! These guys are beyond amazing! They don't do covers, they do upgrades.
These guys are amazing. Cannot get over the fact they are a cappala. You would never know there are no instruments. Everything they do is fabulous!
