    surely any dry powder would wash off in the upper layers after the cast ,i cannot understand why anglers think any different even on boilies

    • @BaitworksTV
      @BaitworksTV 3 дня назад

      It’s serves two purposes mate, dries the tackle and the powder sticks to the tackle all the way to the bottom as it creates a crust on the lead.

      @@BaitworksTV i know about the drying method i have been fishing for over 50 years ,but the powder comes off after the cast if just dipped , if u dont believe me put it strait under the tap after applying , the force of the cast hitting the water is more pressure than a tap running

    • @BaitworksTV
      @BaitworksTV 2 дня назад

      I’ve done enough boat work mate to know that the powder (GLM) sticks to the leads until it’s on the bottom. Like I say in the video, it’s for drying off the tackle, the added attraction is a bonus.

      @BaitworksTV 2 дня назад

      You only get one cast, if it goes wrong and you reel in you have to repeat the whole process again as you know.
