It's puzzling that they all use fake videos for advertising, they use high quality stock footage, lower the resolution and then compare it to the original one. Would be more convincing if their advertisement actually used amateur videos and improved them. I like your examples, and it clearly shows none of them are as good as they advertise :)
i like that your pointing out obvious smoothness in videos because those are the downside of ai video upscaling…some are too obvious….i will now subscribe
I tried with videoproc trial and in their preview the file looked quite good (especially the night parts)and when I exported the file (original 40MB, processed 530MB) the file didn't look half as good, I couldn't even see the difference from the original (very very little). A big greeting
Thank you for sharing this. I'll give them a shot. I have a BUNCH of 3G2 files from when video recording on a flip phone was brand new and I've been wondering if AI can upconvert these pixelated 320x240 clips into something more decent.
Lemme know if u find a solution. I'm trying to do the same thing. I'm also trying to enhance old videos recorded on my cell phones. Im trying to learn how to use Waifu2x. & so far it's helpful in upscaling old videos I filmed on my old iPhone (MP4 & MOV videos. But unfortunately, 3g2 is one of the only formats this AI Video upscale doesn't read. But those are the videos I was most looking forward to enhancing

It’s a local system so I’m not sure if there’s a linit like that. Also, you can always split it to smaller video clips. But recommend asking their support!

You are right. I tried improving an old clip and it did not improve. Rather, it became worse in the VideoProc
