- another day, another video! today I wanted to just ramble as I critique one of my recent artworks! this one was a pure value drawing, and i gotta say it was really fun to do!!! I plan on making a video in a couple weeks about what I've learned with all these value studies, so look forward to that!
(prepare for many uhhs, umms and but yeahs, recording with hardly any script does that to a fella LOL) we're experimenting with different video formats, so if you like this, tell me about it!

seeing you ramble about the posture is really refreshing ! cuz ( everywhere i look in yt or insta everyones art is like perfect and seeing you really makes me believe that im not the only one hahaha) Keep going my dude ! great work!

i couldn't come up with anything specific to write but just wanted to say i've been watching your vids since about a month ago, there's this weird sense of companionship seeing a fellow artist share the grind with you, trying to improve, doing studies and all of that stuff. Keep grinding brother, the ambition and passion are there 👍 + maki enjoyer

Turned out great! 🙌🏼 Yep, ur definitely onto something when it comes to the pose. Bit more exaggeration on gesture (specifically in dem hips) would make it a lot more dynamic in combination with billowing cape. And yes to clouds to add extra compositional interest, but they can be surprisingly difficult for uninitiated. 😅It's easy to get carried away with them and make them distracting or even ruin and overwhelm the picture

and yeahhh i feel like adding the clouds without ruining the composition would be really difficult for me at my level lolll I gotta get more studies in!
but i'd love to try to revisit this one in the future to implement these things
