I just want to say that Project Moon are easily my newest heroes in gaming. Their world building is god-like, their aesthetics are peak style, their music has been nothing but earworms from day one and their games are addictive in their incredible challenge. I have adored every bit of their games they have given me and it is a sin that more people are not aware of them. If there is one game that I am looking forward to, any one single game, it is this one. Thank you, ProjectMoon, for sincerely trying so hard and putting so much effort into your games.
Words fail to describe how hyped I am, and I've only been a fan of PM since spring of this year. I've sunk my whole summer into LC and LOR, and I don't regret anything
I'm still fuming about what happened to her, it was incredibly unfair. But honestly the new artist is still brilliant, and I do think their style fits the game and its' darker undertones much more. LoR made me fall in love with its' painterly style and this feels like that but more polished, so I'm actually pretty content with the artstyle change... just not about the way it went down
vellmori's art is unreplicable, what an absolute waste for such a perfect match we actually need to do something, and undo this decision somehow like there has to be a way to fix this

Day 5 of coming back to this trailer every day. Besides watching this trailer, I also frequently go back to the character PVs, they're so darn good, and I love hearing the voices. VAs did an amazing job.

The actual art style is very good, but you're right. Vellmori's art was just perfect and beautiful, it's a very, very big shame that we probably won't see her anymore in any other PM work, just like what happened with the Wonderlab artist.... Man, what a f-cking shame

there's a lot of teasers for later cantos and unused art here. 1:01 -pretty sure this wasn't used before. just yi sang flying with his perfect wings. probably made for this video specifically- whoops… 1:03 faust doing... something? the background's all wonky so its hard to tell what the context was. chances are that this, too, was never meant to be used in-game 1:05 body shot of don. maybe preparing to stab something? probably also made specifically for this 1:08 mirrors what we see in her ego and base id art, but with strings instead; her being haunted/controlled by the fingers. very reminiscent of string theocracy. same as the previous three, but dont worry, it gets more interesting from here. 1:10 that panel of meursalt covering his eyes is a reference to his book, where he shoots an arab man cuz the sun was annoying him. 1:12 dont know much about hong lu's book, but it looks like he's at a festival of some kind? probably returning home. 1:14 another lu art we havent seen. looks like the main conflict of his canto will be violence caused by class struggle (people tearing each other apart for money he just dropped) 1:14 [split second later] interestingly, we havent seen this one. i guess they never planned to use all this art, or made some changes to the story mid way through. rather than the will, theyre gathering for the funeral. edit: just noticed something. the man on the left is clearly linton, and just to the right of heathcliff seems to be hindley. however, the man and woman on the right both have distinct designs despite not being in the game. not sure if thats the early designs of the oufi, or nelly. i would go with the oufi, considering the large hat, puffy dress, and massive collar/scarf, but who knows. 1:17 -again, im pretty sure this wasnt used. i dont think we ever saw young ishmael wielding a harpoon.- Edit: misinformation, this was in the sea intervallo 1:18 another unused art. reminds me of the shot of when we approach the whale with the indigo elder, but with pequod crew instead 1:23 outis calmly reading something next to a dead, hanging body... i dont know what to say about that and i think thats it. some other art looked vaguely unfamiliar (ishmael reading at 1:17 and uncomfortable -rodya at --1:20-- to be specific- ), but they were just characters making facial expressions, so it would be hard to check if i simply misremembered. the rest are all from cantos 1-4, as im sure you all know.

The actual art style is very good, but you're right. Vellmori's art was just perfect and beautiful, it's a very, very big shame that we probably won't see her anymore in any other PM work, just like what happened with the Wonderlab artist....

and i think thats it. some other art looked vaguely unfamiliar (ishmael reading at 1:17 and uncomfortable -rodya at --1:20-- to be specific- ), but they were just characters making facial expressions, so it would be hard to check if i simply misremembered. the rest are all from cantos 1-4, as im sure you all know.
