Jason asking for Batman's help specifically can mean only one thing "Help me dad, I'm going to die and I'm scared" no wonder it sent batman into a panic
yeah cause he lost him once in sent him down a spiral of sadness, grief and anger maybe, so when jason asked for batman, he knew instantly and didn’t want to lose him again like the first time
Jason is definitely my favorite bat family member and stories like this are the reason why. Can't wait to see where Jason goes from here.

I like how Batman actually breaks down the situation with Jason after Jason made a mistake. It’s a really humanizing moment where he almost seems empathetic while staying logical and calculated.
The “…but what if he accidentally killed a kid’s parents” got me, despite how morbid it is. I’m all for mature and insane storylines, because that’s what I enjoy

You know I hated what they did to jason in three jokers, we all know that what Jason is doing is bad, but he has a deep sense of justice (pretty much batman beat it into him), is not only rage and grieve, as Artemis said when someone suffers and injustice is like a dagger to him, there is good in him, stated by killer croc in his mission with the suicide squad, that he is a good kid trying to be bad, Jason wouldnt have kissed barbara (he rejected her when she tried to make a move on him, trying to make him stayed in Gotham) and he wouldnt send that letter to her, same reason he couldnt take care of a child, because even if he has good inside he knows he has this darkness in him and he tries to protect his loved ones even from himself

He was the sidekick to a a main super hero who “died” in action and came back as an enemy and his identity wasn’t revealed to the hero until after they’d already fought, not to mention he’s a much more serious and badass character then Wally, like Jason

I loved the ending of this issue. This might be the best character development for Red Hood yet. Bruce returning his original suit (most likely, with new features and updates) and a formal invitation back to the Bat-family is probably the most Batman has tried to connect with Jason in a long time. Hopefully this is the start of an awesome redemption arc. Would be nice for DC to actually move these characters forward instead of regressing to the Under The Red Hood arc ever 2 years.
Jason deserves peace, but I doubt he'll ever find it due to the nature of comics.
I've never seen a superhero so defined by his death...don't get me wrong, I like Red Hood, but good grief, get over it. You know how much crap the other heroes have been through? Its getting stale at this point. They need to just make an issue where Jason sits down with a magic therapist, and he/she completely erases the pain and memory of death in the family. Like, enough already lol
@Dominic Toretto You mean to tell me, in a world of Superheroes where parental issues, betrayal, death, and resurrection are pretty much a Wednesday afternoon, that he could not find one soul to help him sort his crap out by now? That's ridiculous. This is the truth...DC saw how popular Red Hood was and are doing everything they can to squeeze that piece of fruit bone dry. It's really that simple. There's no in universe excuse as to why he should still be this conflicted. It's beyond suspending disbelief at this point.

Jason got tortured by the joker for a whole year and a half, inmates and villains from all across Gotham visited Jason just to torture and almost beat him to death, his whole back was taped around with spikes that’s why Jason has such bad posture as of now as well, he was barely fed, mostly starved for food for weeks on weeks, was also beat up with essentials like crowbars, baseball bats, sticks, iron bars, etc. All this while still mumbling the words “Batman….I know he’ll come…..he’ll save me…..he has too” or screaming the words “Batman is that you?” Every time the joker entered the room to torture him even more. The Joker also mocked Jason by saying “batsy isn’t saving you robin, matter of fact, he replaced you” while showing a picture of Batman with a whole new robin, after this he just cried every day and night, for months on end. You must be a sick fuck to say some stupid shit like “he should get over it already” just stop 😐

The fact that Jason called for help for specifically batman.. is well it brought a tear to my eye bc that's powerful. Ever since batman couldn't save him from the joker he hasn't asked him for anything. He's growing.

That's the problem with Jason sometimes. He's a really cool character but like there has been a lot of instances where he so called progresses and becomes better and starts to have a better relationship with Bruce but he just keeps going back

Yeah. In the New52 Jason and Bruce begin to mend their relationship and at the end of it they sincerely embrace each other. Jason even calls Bruce on the phone after Death of the Family event. And after UTRH in Robin’s 80th anniversary he regift Bruce a fully functional watch that belonged to Thomas Wayne after finally fixing it. They showed both of them coming to terms and understanding each other and then… Damian’s death happened. Where Bruce does a horrible thing to Jason. And back again in the Rebirth Outlaws #24-25 issue where he beats Jay into a bloody pulp. And he tried to keep Jason out of ALFRED’S FUNERAL. And the Urban Legends like any other storyline they have with Jason always reverts him back to being violent and enraged when he’s moved passed that long ago but they keep launching him back

When you say plot armor is usally when villain has an a huge advantage in a fight. But that’s just for that universe. You’ll see the hero relearn how to deal with it. Then gg boi getting that bussy

Easily one of the best Red Hood stories, I hope Blue Hood or Tyler returns, but given Jason's protection over him, him becoming a vigilante is quite unlikely, but it is a fun little thought

Jason is easily the coolest former Robin in my opinion. Incredibly talented combatant but more importantly, his stories that focus on his relationships with Batman and the Bat family are amazing. HIs strained relationship with Bruce, the dark mirroring with Dick, his complicated relationship with Barbara, the weird yet fitting kinship with Damian.
Batman needs to save Jason to make up for him dying in the first place. If Jason dies Batman will snap.
At this point Jason shouldn’t need to be saved

This is badass storyline for Jason and Bruce’s father son relationship and Jason character development into more of a Batman like attitude
The last issue just gave us a glimpse of what a true ending to Batman’s story would be like, if Batman ever decide to end the Joker.

Jason is such a fascinating character and I love it whenever we see him and Bruce with a (mostly semi)mended relationship.
I feel finally happier with this Jason Todd story, I'm a lot happier to see Bruce and Jason become closer together, it will take some time and effort on both ends to be truly close, but I like to think that Jason still comes for dinner every week without fail. I really hope they stick with this, it feels amazing to see, and it's nice to see them finally have a happy(?) ending with them, I love the voice acting by the way! This feels like the best way to read comics!

@@killmonger5097 I think the opposite. Yeah, Tyler father was junk, totally deserved what he got. However, unless Jason told him what really happened, which he probably didn't (Tyler wouldn't be so happy at the end of the story), he is probably still waiting for his father to come back, since he believes he's sick, and that will never happen.

@@fm_0523 I do agree that Tyler never judged his dad properly, I think Tyler's dad would have hurt him anyway if Red Hood let him live, but I think he finally sees the consequences of hurting someone, how it makes a ripple into someone else's life, we've never seen this from Jason, it's interesting to see him finally stop after seeing the consequences of his own actions.
@@lastfirst4803 We and Jason have seen the consequences of his actions in some else's life many times. he tried to kill the other Robins many times. Paralysed damian Wayne. He tried to destroy the Nightwing mantle. Not to mention that time when he turned into a tentacle monster and tried to eat Dick Grayson. We've had stories like these a lot. However I'm glad that this time he has reflected and considered the effect of his actions

@@ChristianGibbons777 Yeah. The Titans series on HBOMAX. Third season. I wouldn't recommend it if you solely want to watch it for Jason. Well. Season 3 Jason. First two seasons of him are excellent. Just be prepared for him to be a different take on the character in season 3. All around a pretty good show though.

I like that Jason is progressing but I also think using guns is like... the biggest iconic part of Jason compared to the other BatFam members. I don't know if I like the idea of him giving up guns

It occurs to me that Jason is the last "normal" child Batman took as a sidekick for years afterward. Tim is arguable but he's a prodigy that can be trusted not to make a fatal mistake and he volunteered to save Batman's crumbling mental state at the time, Damian is an assassin, Cass is an assassin, Stephanie could have been a supervillain like her father, and Duke has superpowers. Harper Row is similar to how Jason started but she was absolutely dead set on being Bluebird despite repeated discouragement so better with supervision than without I guess. It's interesting to me.

The Funniest thing about this is that Bruce and Jason are the most alike in the whole bat family. Not including Damian.
They aren't. Jason is more sensitive, thoughtful, emotionally dependent than Bruce and Damian. He isn't as manipulative, paranoid, controlling, callous and calculated as the Wayne's. Jason is also open and social unlike the Wayne duo

A majority of the time he uses those to take down other vehicles and the like.

The interaction between Jason and Tyler is a neat piece of foreshadowing. Although he's too young at this point, I feel like this won't be the last we see of Tyler

@@TheBlaskowitz who knows. I've always loved Jason, even as Robin, but most fans didn't. But as Red Hood, pretty much every fan loves him. It was different when his fan base were more 50/50 but now I feel like he's earned his position. He deserves a break, and some clarity.
