Best Jericho gimmick by far, this feels like a 99 rated edition Jericho if this were a video game.

Y2J gimmick is what pushed him to the moon, so it's his best gimmick.
Lionheart was how Jericho truely began, the name was given by Paco Alonso, who was running CMLL and saw something in Chris. The country being México, the name was Corazón de Léon, from there Jericho would go to WAR, Genichiro Tenryu's promotion, wich worked with CMLL (if I recall correctly), and caught the attention of a wrestling promoter called Jim Cornette, who then signed Chris to a deal with his Smokey Mountain Wrestling promotion, Jericho would later on join as well Paul Heyman's Extreme Championship Wrestling, all those travels gave Jericho a cult status, and will caught the eyes of World Championship Wrestling, and later on, after seeing WCW would not go further than Cruiserweight Division with him, Chris left for the WWF/E, wrestle for New Japan in 2016, and finally went for All Elite Wrestling.
However, Jericho in interviews and videos made it clear the man he loved to work with was Paco Alonso, who sadly passed away in 2019, wich could be the reason for Chris not going to AAA despite the AEW partnership, AAA was born because Antonio Peña and Alonso didn't got along, Peña left CMLL and a huge chunk of wrestlers and referees followed him as Antonio founded AAA, Chris was of those who decided to remain with Alonso, brand loyalty is still heavy in Mexican veterans, and I wouldn't be shocked if Chris has no intention of working with AAA because of how he considers Paco as "the man that made Chris Jericho".
Regal is so good being a commentator, a wrestler, and just an overall great asset for AEW or any company that he is in.
William Regal is great wrestler, he’s can cut a hella of a promo but he is a terrible commentator. In NXT & AEW. That’s not his strong suit

How, he never used this song, I know because lionheart was my first favorite wrestler. His theme was awesome at the time but because it was generic Free to license Jericho hated it. Hence this nonsense. Long story short it's literally impossible you remember this from childhood

I loved this version of Jericho back in WCW. When he would throw tantrums after matches it was great. The one after he lost to flair was an epic meltdown.

This brings back so many good memories. I was 11 in 1997 and I remember his battles against Ultimo Dragon back in WCW especially the awesome match he had at Bash at the Beach 97. I wish AEW could use his old WCW All the days theme for his Lionheart entrance.
