I was there to show my support. It was heartbreaking but what a site to behold. Men, women of all races, New Yorkers came together to mourn and show support. You could hear a pin drop on 5th Ave. God Bless Detective Rivera and Mora, God bless their families, God bless the NYPD and law enforcement and God bless america.

Years ago, I went to my mom's viewing I was amazed at all the officers who paid their respects because my brother was a police officer at the time. It was amazing. Then when my dad passed, they did the same thing.

I am a Military Police officer in São Paulo in Brazil, I salute and sympathize with this warrior who died in the line of duty. Strength to the family, may God be with you, your fight is the same as ours!
Most cops are hunted down for a reason. The NYPD has one of the worse reputations in America. Being that the fact, you should understand why this is happening. That's not even the cops that are found guilty in court. Parade like this is a perfect way to kill many cops and criminals know this. NYPD better start thinking a bit harder.
@@dave7701 Regardless of reputation or not, this demonstration was an example of strength and unity, as this is a teaching given since police training through the hierarchy and discipline that is the pillar of the military police. Every violent action against a police officer must be the same response. Police officers do not leave the house to die, but to serve and protect.

This is awesome!! Jason, though he was 22, accomplished what he was sent to earth to do! God was excited to received him home. I am sure he said well done my faithful servant. 22 years old yet his life has impacted so many individuals.
