    Kadhi Pakoda with Chawal
    Ingredients for the Kadhi
    Oil - 1 tbsp
    Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
    Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
    Curry leaves - 7-8
    Garlic Cloves - 4 -5 (sliced)
    Ginger - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
    Onions - 1 (Sliced)
    Green chillies - 1 (finely chopped)
    Tomatoes - 1 (chopped)
    Curd - 1/2 cup
    Besan - 2 tbsp
    Red chilli pd - 2 tsp
    Turmeric pd - 1/4 tsp
    Water - 1 & 1/2 cup
    Chaat Masala - 1/2 tsp
    Kasoori Methi - 1/2 tsp
    For the Pakodas
    Spinach - 1 cup (finely sliced)
    Onion - 1 (sliced)
    Green Chillies -2 (finely chopped)
    Besan - 1/4 cup
    Salt to taste
    Turmeric pd - 1/4 tsp
    Few drops of Water if required
    Oil to deep fry
    For the Tadka
    Oil - 1 tbsp
    Kashmiri Red chilli - 2
    Curry leaves - 7-8
    Method
    In a kadhai, heat oil. Add cumin seeds & mustard seeds followed by curry leaves & allow them to crackle.
    Then add the chopped garlic & sauté till golden brown.
    ⁠Now add the ginger & onions. Sauté till they turn brown. Add the green chillies & mix well.
    -Then add the tomatoes, salt, turmeric pd, red chilli pd, chaat masala & cook till the tomatoes soften & the oil separates.
    -Meanwhile in a bowl, whisk the curd with besan, salt , red chilli pd & turmeric pd. Keep it aside.
    -Add the curd to the prepared masala base. Add about 2 cups of water & allow the kadhi to simmer.
    Now for the pakodas, in a mixing bowl, add all the mentioned ingredients. Make a thick batter.
    -Heat oil in a pan & fry the pakodas.
    -Now add the pakodas to the kadhi & simmer on low flame. Garnish with kasoori methi & freshly chopped coriander leaves.
    -Pour a tadka of kashmiri red chillies& curry leaves
    -Serve hot with steamed rice.
