Hey Brian. This 61 year old rider did the backcountry Pyrenees with Carlos, Antonio and the boys a couple of weeks after you. Watching your videos is just such and awesome flashback to the most amazing riding, so a huge thanks to you! Have also been watching the videos of your Mont Blanc. Tat ws some truly epic riding and has got to be on my list. Garth, Wellington, NZ
Hi from England! I'm now onboard the Patreon finally, I need to see all of the videos man. Keep up the great work and stay safe. You're riding the best trails in the world with some of the best riders I've ever seen, it's a rare opportunity for us to ride with not only our friend Brian but the amazing trail guides that some of us will never get to hook up with. Skills are coming on Brian! You're tackling the most technical trails with the best riders,
Soo good! Im always supposed to watch the BKXC videos for just a minute, but tend to get stuck until the end! And I really like that its so technical trails and they are enjoyed!!!!
Wow, that section with the old rock walls on either side was not only sick, but I bet that there is an amazing history to the trail! Very cool video Brian! Excellent work man!
Bro what sold day on the bike. It looks beautiful with some good chunk chunk. The nut , well everyone has a time like that. I remember I forgot to pack my shoes the night before to I rode for two hours in Birkenstocks on SPD. I drove for two hours, wasn't going to not ride!!!! Live-Life-Loud!!!
Great video man, every time i watch one of your videos, you always get me pumped up to ride, and try new things like bikes, trails, styles. All of those things that’s I want to do, is because of your videos. Your my inspiration! Keep doing what you do. -zach hardy
You are getting faster and faster I have been following you for over a year now and you are picking up speed, you first videos must look like slow mo! Keep up with the rad work Brian!
2 things... 1. That bike was standing up to an absolute beating. My spanish friend here in Whistler stands by his Orbea proudly. 2. Your riding has improved over this trip. The speed and confidence you take into some of the less ridiculously tight corners is admiral! Thanks!
I ride an Occam M-Ltd. Never felt this great on a bike. I'm 51 and started riding 20 years ago. Such an efficient, solid platform that loves to get rowdy.
just what i needed before heading out on the rocks for the day, each ride just keeps getting better and better, amazing stuff, thanks for inspiring me :-)
Maaan...your riding videos are really cool! I love them. You inspire me to go out, ride, film and cut the videos together afterwards to upload it on my channel. Really inspiring and helpful. Keep the good work up. :)
Awesome video Brian. One of my favourite trails ever. I raced most of that a month or two back. An Enduro RACE with a difference, your timed from start to finish... no stages. Was fucking exhausting.
These trails actually are pretty similar to trails near Jerusalem, limestone rock slabs and rocky/loose/ chunky trails. That's the mediterranean experience for you :)
_Skeptically opens video due to title, forgets about title and watches the whole video_ Strava is a great tool. I think the issue with it is assholes, and assholes find a way of being what they are with any tool they can, take Strava away and they'll find another way to do it.
Man those are my kind of trails, super chunky! If you had your previous set up with the DVO Diamond and Topaz I think you would have felt a huge difference. The small bump compliance with DVO is just amazing it eats the chunk for breakfast.
BKXC yeah I think it may started feeling crappy right before you swapped it out. You should send your fork and shock to DVO for service. You rode crap loads of miles last year and never got it serviced. Once Ronnie or Bryson tunes it up you will be blown away the difference from the Rock Shox suspension you have on the Bronson now. You are such a better rider now that you should be able to tell the difference.
¡Buenos días, Señor Kennedy! I am looking forward to this video. What have you shared with us, today? 0:25 - I tried looking up these villages you mentioned on Google Maps, but I can't for the life of me figure out how you spell the names. I eventually figured out Ainsa, but how do you spell Thonathero? Thonithero? Sheesh! 1:48 - Carlos is a good man. 😉 6:29 - Sometimes I think it's weird which details will stick out to me in these videos. For example, right here I'm paying more attention to the person photographing you than looking around at the trail. I'm not sure if he's a guide or another rider, but I think it's cool that so many people are documenting these rides. 6:48 - Another trench run! Haha! 8:06 - Now that's very interesting about Strava. I never even remotely considered that it could be misused like that. So you're saying that because people are competing with each other on Strava, that the results of those are the trails getting destroyed? That's a very interesting consequence to the use of Strava. The thing is, Strava isn't the only platform that is used to track routes. Garmin Connect is another similar tool. Are they trying to ban that platform, too? 9:22 - "Wheelie, wheelie good at that." Haha! I see what you did, there. 🙄 9:42 - Looks a little bit like Moab or something. 14:18 - Man, this terrain is a stark contrast from where you started. 15:11 - And now we're back to forrest. Boy you really went through a variety of different terrain on this ride. Just the right amount of technical and smooth. No crashes, so that's good. Everyone looked like they were having fun. So I started looking at the web site for BasqueMTB. The rates for these rides don't look outrageous. How awesome would it be to take my kids on some of these rides? Granted, with the exception of my second son, my kids aren't anywhere near the skill level they'd need to be for many of these trails. But that will change in time. Kind of makes me think if there's a market for group rides like these for entire families? Hmmm... -Brian
Unless your kid is doing double black diamond stuff at home I would NOT take them on any of these trails! Western Spirit offers some "mellow" type rides that are family friendly.
Oh, cripes no. Not now. None of us are riding that level of trail. I guess I should have made it more clear; I meant in a few years. Hell, I'M not even there, yet. Haha! But thank you for the recommendation to Western Spirit. If they do family MTB trips (or family-friendly) then that could be a great start for us.
BKXC may or may not be a Yank, but is from the U.S and is a proud American, and they speak English. The English, who can be called British, live in the U.K. I think language is confusing, not just because you're American. But anyway, how does the coil shock perform uphill? does it bob or does it have a lockout?
Wow, great decents just what I loved about MTB but even if I could ride again my old Ellsworth (Isis) with white bros. Forks would not be enough to handle this stuff?
I had it tricked out with Azonic bar & stem combo/ raceface ibeam cranks/Sun XC RIMS/Thompson seat tube. XTR TRANSMISSION. I can send you a photo if you got email available? Not sure what to do with it?
Yes! What an amazing set of trail. I don't know how other tours operate, and even this specific trip varies from group to group depending on how fit and skilled the group is.
Great video man! Brian could you tell me if the 29" wheelsize frame of your bike feels any better than 27,5 on trails/ harsh riding cuz im really split between these two opotions, whats your point of view? I'm thinking of buying Rallon M10 in a lil while.Thank you 😊 greetings from Poland.
The problem with Strava is the negative effect on Share the Trail (Yielding). Riders trying to beat the clock fail to yield and be courteous to other trail users which gives us all a bad name.
Jonathan Soto ......good question. Maybe he can do a vid talking about his likes/dislikes in regards to the bikes he owns and the bikes he has ridden recently (Ibis, Orbea, etc).
Man, it's so hard to compare. This round in Spain was just so damn tough, the trails were a little too tough with not enough flow. This video was my favorite ride where I'm chasing Doug down the EWS track and I really felt the bike was great. I'd love to ride the same trail on the Bronson back to back.
It must be a bit nasty to ride all the time on pretty rocky path. These trails you've been riding on this last couple days are too rocky and makes every single part on the bike shake so badly. It's a beautiful place though. Great video, Brian, enjoy your trip as much as you can!!
I would also like to use the M word ! Menorca that is ! Picture yourself following the coastal trail over rocks, woodland, beeches ! The whole way around the island 115 miles of peaceful bliss 😀maybe you will spot a tortoise on the trail (not me) or climb to the highest point to capture the views ! Then arrive back at your all inclusive hotel to rest and refuel on Spanish food ! If only someone would make a video 😀😀🌏🇬🇧🚴
I'm thinking about having my nuts removed or at least relocated to somewhere more convenient! So I don't have to worry about dinging them off my bar🇬🇧👍
They have no rights to turn off Strava. Thats just ignorant. I would find a way around it..Use another app..something..I dont compete I just like keeping up with my miles and maps..Trails are there to be used. You make a rut,so what..its just part of riding..Land changes over time..Thats life.
Hey Brian. This 61 year old rider did the backcountry Pyrenees with Carlos, Antonio and the boys a couple of weeks after you. Watching your videos is just such and awesome flashback to the most amazing riding, so a huge thanks to you! Have also been watching the videos of your Mont Blanc. AWESOME! So glad to hear that you got out there and did it Garth!!
6:05 am here in NC. Just got off work nothing like a good video before I go to sleep.
Hell yeah!
You're tackling the most technical trails with the best riders,
Thank you so much for the support, it's what keeps the dream alive dude!
So so rad! Loved that section around 8:30 and the views of the trail right after that
Yess! So many amazing parts.
Soo good! Im always supposed to watch the BKXC videos for just a minute, but tend to get stuck until the end! And I really like that its so technical trails and they are enjoyed!!!!
Hahaha, I sucked ya right in!
Wow, that section with the old rock walls on either side was not only sick, but I bet that there is an amazing history to the trail! Very cool video Brian! Excellent work man!
Yes!! One of the coolest parts
Thanks man, it was an awesome day of riding! Haha, oh man forgetting your shoes is the worst.
Great video man, every time i watch one of your videos, you always get me pumped up to ride, and try new things like bikes, trails, styles. All of those things that’s I want to do, is because of your videos. Your my inspiration! Keep doing what you do.

That's great man, I love hearing that!
Fantastic trails and great riding, Brian ! You were right on the guys you were following.
Thanks man!
Wild trails with almost no footprint on mother nature ! You're in heaven Bryan. Keep it up !
Yeah, these were spectacular
Epic, I just couldn't stop waving from side to side as you were riding, awesome
Haha yeah, I do that too when I watch
You are getting faster and faster I have been following you for over a year now and you are picking up speed, you first videos must look like slow mo! Keep up with the rad work Brian!
Thanks man!!
2 things...
1. That bike was standing up to an absolute beating. My spanish friend here in Whistler stands by his Orbea proudly.

Carl Howe Im sure! If i had the money or trails to ride such a bike i would definitely pick up one of those bad boys
Jason West snap!
Haha yep, the bike took everything I had! Thanks man, I really thought I was hauling ass in this video more than anything I've ever done.
BKXC let me know if you want to apply that ass hauling to Lord of the Squirrels trail in whistler next summer!
Just another great video Brian.....you have the most consistent content of any other mtb tuber. Keep em coming.
Thanks man!
I ride an Occam M-Ltd. Never felt this great on a bike. I'm 51 and started riding 20 years ago. Such an efficient, solid platform that loves to get rowdy.
Wow!! Love hearing that Keith
These trails look incredible. Maybe my favorite of your trip so far! BTW, love the title of this video haha!
Thanks so much Jason!
I love Mountain Biking and you have inspired me to love it and push myself even more!! Thanks Bro!!
Awesome!!
just what i needed before heading out on the rocks for the day, each ride just keeps getting better and better, amazing stuff, thanks for inspiring me :-)
Thanks man, glad you're digging them!
The man, the myth, the legend... The one and only... CARLOS - 1:27 - What a guy!
Hahaha yes!
That must be one of the prettiest mtb trails ever
Indeed!!
Maaan...your riding videos are really cool! I love them. You inspire me to go out, ride, film and cut the videos together afterwards to upload it on my channel. Really inspiring and helpful.
Keep the good work up. :)
Thanks so much! Glad to hear it's getting you fired up to get outside and do your own videos!
Just telling the truth. ;)
Could you may visit my channel and give me a little feedback about my videos? Would be very cool. :)
Thats rad bike! I love that a customer could totally customize the colors
Yeah, pretty amazing!
appropriate title for this video . what an amazing place, so many verticle feet. thanks for sharing, cheers!
Thanks dude!
Chunkalicious trail! Great video as usual Brian!
Haha thanks Steven!
My favourite vid of this trip so far I reckon!
YES!
Orbea Rallon, you are a beast no doubt.... taking all BKXC can give you!
HAhaha yes it is
At 09:41 - that's a pretty damn big drop, Brian. You handled it like it was riding off a kerb. Your technical skills have really improved!
Yeah that was a decent one! Doug went right in and had no problem so I followed!
yeah, the town, the view just like being in the mid-age, great!!
Pretty amazing!
I ride those trails like 1 month ago. Awesome place at that tower...very rocky stuff!
NICE!
Awesome video Brian. One of my favourite trails ever. I raced most of that a month or two back. An Enduro RACE with a difference, your timed from start to finish... no stages. Was fucking exhausting.
Thanks dude! I could NOT handle that thing the full way.
Thank you Brian, great ride
Thanks Ken!
I didn't watch this immediately because I thought it was a bike check, but then the 2nd part reeled me in. I was not disappointed! 😂
Haha thanks dude!
You need to upgrade to 29" wheels on that suitcase ;-p
Hahaha!
Ye and fox suspension 😂
So cool, keep up the good work!
Thanks bud!!
Spain trip man is always Fire!
Yeah buddy!
Liked and Shared done! Keep shredding Brian!

at 5:26 hahah! That trail is so Rowdy!
Yes it was!
I went back and looked at some of your older videos and you have come a long, long way my friend.
Thanks Mitch!
awesome video, that bike is something else 🔥😍😍
Thanks so much Troy!
The rallon looks sick!! But as you always say just ride the damn bike!
Exactly! Loved the bike, but JUST GO RIDE is the mantra!
These trails actually are pretty similar to trails near Jerusalem, limestone rock slabs and rocky/loose/ chunky trails.
That's the mediterranean experience for you :)
That's awesome!

Strava is a great tool. I think the issue with it is assholes, and assholes find a way of being what they are with any tool they can, take Strava away and they'll find another way to do it.
Yeah man, tools are always misused!
Finally a long video
Hahaha, I have 200+ videos!
Nice Giro helmet! I have the same one.. fits perfectly to my Bike :)
Yeah, I enjoy it!
Man those are my kind of trails, super chunky! If you had your previous set up with the DVO Diamond and Topaz I think you would have felt a huge difference. The small bump compliance with DVO is just amazing it eats the chunk for breakfast.
Man, you are probably right! Last year in Spain was on the DVO and I was killing it.
BKXC yeah I think it may started feeling crappy right before you swapped it out. You should send your fork and shock to DVO for service. It would be nice if as a representative of Orbea you make a video of how to maintain/change the DROP OUT KIT
Your gimbal is really working hard in this one lol looks sick!
Hahaha yep, doing some great work!
Well...how was the bike? You really didn’t comment on how it rode or compared to other similar bikes
Sweet Ride
Thanks bud!
Carlos is The Man!
Big time!
morning brother, coffee and a English muffin, and watching the vid, grrrrreat fun.
Hell yes!
Good track!!!
Definitely!
BKXC may or may not be a Yank, but is from the U.S and is a proud American, and they speak English. The English, who can be called British, live in the U.K. I think language is confusing, not just because you're American.
But anyway, how does the coil shock perform uphill? does it bob or does it have a lockout?
Hahaha, solid explanation! It does have a lockout, but I was leaving it wide open for the chunky climbs and felt like I had more traction than ever.
How do y ou get à so stable image ? Thank y ou .
I use a gimbal, video gear link in the description!
What suitcase is that?
Something from Costco!
Wow, great decents just what I loved about MTB but even if I could ride again my old Ellsworth (Isis) with white bros. Forks would not be enough to handle this stuff?
Man, that's a tough call, I don't know enough about that model!
I had it tricked out with Azonic bar & stem combo/ raceface ibeam cranks/Sun XC RIMS/Thompson seat tube. XTR TRANSMISSION. I can send you a photo if you got email available? Not sure what to do with it?
Narrow and rowdy! Will you consider going for coil on your Bronson one day? :)
Yeah, I'd love to try the coil on the Bronson!
Where can we get BKXC trail jerseys?. They look good.
Sorry man, it was a one shot deal, but I'll definitely get another one going next year!
that's a good one Bryan
Thanks Chuck!
Hi Brian, what do you think about the Rallon? How is the stifness of the frame? Will you recommend to buy this bike?
It's gonna be my next bike!
Oh that should have been a very good bike. Thanks
Pleasantly surprised I did not have to watch an orchiectomy take place. ;)
Hahaha, not googling that word!
Prob wise. Alice in Chains "Half The Man I Used To Be" would have been appropriate background music. Just saying.
Damn thats gnarly
Such a good ride!
Really good. Amazing to see the Zona Zero again from your pov :) Do you know if these trails are all part of the official Zona Zero tours?
Yes! What an amazing set of trail. I don't know how other tours operate, and even this specific trip varies from group to group depending on how fit and skilled the group is.
Seriously rough and dangerous terrain, way beyond what I would ever attempt
How much did they charge to rent the bikes there?
I forget exactly how much it is to take one of their bikes for a week, but it's worth it!
Exelente Makinas! "Vienbenidos a España"
Gracias!
Seems like everything is going 29, go with the flow!
The problem with Strava is the negative effect on Share the Trail (Yielding). Riders trying to beat the clock fail to yield and be courteous to other trail users which gives us all a bad name.
Nice bike trip! How are you feeling with the new rallon?
Loving it, fast as a mofo
Brian nice way to put the bike thru it's paces! How do you like the spring shock versus staright air shock? Nice vid thanks for bringing them to us
Jonathan Soto ......good question. Maybe he can do a vid talking about his likes/dislikes in regards to the bikes he owns and the bikes he has ridden recently (Ibis, Orbea, etc).
I think the biggest difference I felt was on the tech climbs, felt good!
damn.. u r getting faster!
Haha it's all the bike!
Scary trail!! I thing that anyone using natural trails REPECT is all you need.
Haha yep, I love the natural stuff!
Awesome
😁👍
Hiya Brian, Did any of the other guys have any problems with there bikes?.👍👍👍👍vid BKXC....
Lots of random stuff, but no deal breakers!
Still like it better than the Bronson now that you've been back on it for a while?
Man, it's so hard to compare. This round in Spain was just so damn tough, the trails were a little too tough with not enough flow. This video was my favorite ride where I'm chasing Doug down the EWS track and I really felt the bike was great. I'd love to ride the same trail on the Bronson back to back.
Funny to hear you talking about Holland/ the Netherlands/ the Dutch man.
I'm Dutch 2
Hahaha nice
Lots of rocks.... looks like Texas! 7 out of 10 nuggets.
Hahaha thanks Mike
Ok ordered one. :)
Hahaha love it!
Lol! I forgot to end my Strava one time and drive with it and got KOM. I got some harsh threats to delete it asap which I was already gonna do. 😂
Hahaha yep, people are intense
That chain looks thirsty Brian!
Haha yes it does! We got 'er lubed up after the nut got put on.
It must be a bit nasty to ride all the time on pretty rocky path. These trails you've been riding on this last couple days are too rocky and makes every single part on the bike shake so badly. It's a beautiful place though. Great video, Brian, enjoy your trip as much as you can!!
I love that rocky stuff! Thanks Felipe
Eugene looks like he’s from the Netherlands, maybe even from Holland, personally I think he’s Dutch...
Hahahah yes!
Nice
😁👍
Carlos must be enjoying his job...
He's a champ!
So were u! haha
First I've heard of it dude! You know I love the suggestions
Wow. It's so excthing I like to
ride a bike with you 👍👏
Thanks dude!
I'm thinking about having my nuts removed or at least relocated to somewhere more convenient! So I don't have to worry about dinging them off my bar🇬🇧👍
Hahahah, maybe just above my shoulder blades!
i thought there were gunshots in the beginning 😂😂😂
Haha!
Stone-slalon! :D
Haha yes!
One thing that is not confusing, that Dutch MTB'er can ride
Yes he can!!
The bike sounds like your tyres are over inflated.
I forgot to mention. #weareorbea !
😁👍
They have no rights to turn off Strava. Thats just ignorant. I would find a way around it..Use another app..something..I dont compete I just like keeping up with my miles and maps..Trails are there to be used. You make a rut,so what..its just part of riding..Land changes over time..Thats life.
Yep, Strava is a big boogeyman!
Sorry Brian,I’ve been away for a while (fully legal non bike stuff!) and it looks like you lost a nut? That must have hurt like hell. 😂👍🏻👍🏻
Hahaha, you've got a lot of catching up to do!
Does anyone else get scared when they hear that ping on their tyres while riding?
Always!!
Nope, I love hearing it lol
