I have got 2 questions: 1- Why in connection speed we talk in bit (kilobit, megabit...) and talking about storage we talk in bytes (kilobytes,megabytes...)? 2- What it is the actual difference between a wifi connection and a bluetooth? They both are "wireless" but the wifi we secure it with passwords instead we don't do that with bluetooth.

Does the Bluetooth send out a "broadcast"? Is that how BT discovers other devices you've never linked before?
