- So this may be the most annoying video I've ever made, it took me forever to decide what Easter Eggs to use and then I had trouble actually finding ways to record a couple of the ones I did record (Super Mario 3D Land especially). Since I posted the first Creepiest Easter Eggs in June 2013, quite a few similar videos have been made by other channels which made picking the right ones to use difficult, I didn't want to use Easter Eggs that had all been used in other videos. Although most of these have been included in other Creepy/Scary Easter Egg videos, I made sure to include a couple that hadn't. Thanks for Watching!

I was thinking of doing a Part 4 and started planning it but I've decided to leave it as a creepy trilogy instead. I think, and so do most people, that this is the best one so I'll leave it on a high note.

I think my favourite thing about your Top 10 videos (or at least the ones I have seen) is that there's no annoying fake "too excited yet still somehow lazy" voice that opens every video with "HEY WHAT'S UP GUYS IT'S SUPERNOVADEADTRIGGER1556 HERE AND WELCOME.......... TO MY CHANNEL-FIRSTUPWEHAVE..." ect.
(You all know what I'm talking about. You've seen it - Every second RUclips gamer is doing it these days and it's god-awful.)

I'm just going to say it here: The Psychonauts one is creepy AND sad. Though, one thing: When you're doing the picture-book thing, it kinda reminded me of something I used to own as a child. Can't remember the name of it, though.

The Fatal Frame 2 one was clever. On old TV's before HD flat screens, a still image could burn into the screen if left for too long and permanently damage your TV, so the developers had a little fun with that fact.

When I saw the name "Dear Esther", I thought, "Even the name sounds creepy."
Well I must admit, I enjoyed the video.
Not only because some of the items on the list were easter eggs I never heard of before, but also the editing.
Thank you very much for the warning each time a jump scare popped up. I like to enjoy my videos without having to worry about my ears bleeding from sudden volume spikes.
I don't understand what Dear Esther is supposed to be... It looks terrifying, but all of the reviews I see say it's a beautiful experience.

i was playing mortal kombat just like you, and it was the middle of midnight and i wanted to spend all my kredits, so i went to the crypt and i spent at least one hour there. i then look at my cheats i got, and i went to go leave the krypt, so i left it and the game froze for a few seconds then the thing jumped me and i was only a couple feet away and i fell back screaming o-o
I'm still not sure what was up with that video in London with the mom, the daughter and the explosion
That lighthouse part of number 1 reminds me of that one Ghost Hunters video.

do you know what the problem is? when you get a creepy easter egg on a creepy game, that's a part of the game's atmosphere. But a creepy easter egg on a normal game is just fucking terrifying. Cause you didn't expect it. And it was watching you alll the time.

I watched all tree of your creepy Easter Egg videos, I love them! It is sooo cool to see what programmers of games actually put in there games that most people don't ever see, or just think, "nah, i have just been playing too long I didn't see that." Nice work hunting all of them down!
Im still not sure why, but back when it was released, Doom3 scared the absolute hell out of me and it still does. The atmosphere, sounds and environment was amazingly well done. I still find the game visually 'prettier' than many recent titles today.
But that bathroom scare. Holy hell. I remember that. A surefire way to make me panic-slam my keyboard to hit the escape button and fall out of my chair.
Though amusingly I was edge-of-my-seat tense right at the beginning when I ~knew~ something was going to happen to that Scientist right when the 'invasion' starts. I think he got every single bullet I had before he even turned into a Zombie.

Love these because there's no background commentary, it's just the sweet silence that creates that spooky vibe. Recently playing Silent Hill on the Ps2 with my cousin, in my opinion, games back in the day were a lot scarier.
Metal Gear had alot of scary eastereggs. In the subsistance version of MGS2, you could play VR Missions, and one required you to hunt a ''ghost''.
You were spawned into the underground area of the Ship in the Tanker level, and had to move a corpse on the ground into the one lit room by a light.
Doing that, revealed a ghost hovering above the body, that you could photograph, and beat the mission. Scared the hell out of me as a kid.
The mortal kombat one i got when i was checking a video for the locations and when i look on the screen of the game the jumpscare just pop up

dunno why, but from all 3 files, im mostly scared here from 7:20 ... i never played COD, and the fact the girl died because some shitty terrorists..... UGLY.
I know this video is now 8 years old, but an interesting note about the Super Mario 3D Land ghost; it can be seen at the end of all ghost houses in the game, and in the windows at the start of at least one of them.
Seeing this video again makes me feel great. Seems like it was just yesterday when this video was uploaded years ago.
