What an interesting device! Not being able to tap to track people is an interesting decision, but for what it does in terms of following people mostly center-framed, it seems to work well. Although I agree, not really a "must have" for most people.
Excellent video Kyle. This answered the Blackmagic Camera question that has been nagging me concerning Dockkit. I'm wondering if the motors could handle a Gen 2 USB-C Cord hanging off of the iPhone for connecting a Gen 2 USB-C hub for wireless mic, clean HDMI, External SSD recording etc.
Awesome! The motor is pretty strong, so as long as you could make sure it's doesn't snag on anything as it moves, you should be okay!
I meant to ask you to test this with FaceTime.
It works! I just don't have good footage of it haha
@@kyleloweAnd during a FaceTime call will it use your rear lens of choice, or will it force the wide?
@@GilbertTang Ah, it just does normal Facetime things, so Facetime can now let you choose back lenses, right?
