Tour Thousand Trails Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch | The Only Colorado Thousand Trails RV Park

Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch is the only Thousand Trails park in Colorado, and from what we’ve heard, it’s the newest in the country. It was purchased by Thousand Trails, not built from scratch, so it’s well established with several sites and amenities including 2 pools, a basketball court, game room, and limited 50 amp sites. They also have cabins for those without a rig.
As the name suggests, it’s very close to Blue Mesa Reservoir, just across the street in fact. They have room for you to bring your boat if you plan to hit the lake.
We wanted to take advantage of the ATV and motorcycle trails nearby and were excited to find out that you can ride straight out of the RV park.
This was a great option to get the camping feeling but still have full hookups. We really enjoyed it and are sure we’ll be back again.
