Thank you for posting these westerns. I liked Wright King in the Gunsmoke episodes he did. He always stands out amongst the other actors.
I talk to Wright King occasionally... the last time the day after his 95 birthday. Very interesting.

Really well scripted story line in which many characters offer differing opinions. I always enjoy a thinking man's western.
Opening scenes are very John Ford. Pretty interesting story line

The problem with this series is that its the actual issues of the American Army circa 1880's. Fascinating today, but in the 1950's, they would have gone counter to the fable.

Because they make such good Sergeants. Besides, they need that extra pay that comes with the rank to be able to afford that fine Irish whiskey they seem to be so fond of.
