I am 57 years old and was the queen of hot roller sets in the 80’s and I never knew that that the bent side of the clip went on the bottom! 😮 no wonder they always fell out eventually!

I highly recommend buying the roller claws for hot rollers!! You can buy them at any drug store & it is so worth it to ensure your hot rollers stay on completely. Also , another trick to maintain the curl & to not miss pieces, do a light spray of hairspray as you do each section.

Awesome, I love how straight forward your tutorial was. I haven't used my rollers since prom 2 years ago, but my mom did it for me. Now that I'm in college, I want to try it myself! Thanks!

Thanks again for this simple post even if it is just common sense lol this weekend was our 5yr anniversary & we renewed our vows. I got hair extensions and my stylist had it curled so cute. I thought I'd never be able to recreate what she did. Love that I can now. Thanks again!

At 2:56, she shows the container with the hot rollers inside. This container is where the individual rollers get heated up once you plug the cord in. I just got a set this past weekend, and I have to say these are so easy to use :) Hope that helps.

@@asmasblueskies hot rollers use significantly lower temperature than a hair curler or straightener. That's why they damage your hair way less and the risk of getting burned is minimal

These are great for longer hair if you don't have shorter layers. With shorter layers it will just make hair look like it was dried with a round brushed, there will be no waves. Use slightly smaller rollers for layered or shorter hair. Love your videos!! You're so cute!

I have these. I wash, dry, then add Nexxus pro mend bodifying mousse to the roots, then i spray with Nexxus heat protexx styling spray misted over my hair. (I don't glob the stuff, a little goes a long way) Heat the rollers for a good 10 minutes, let sit for 20 in my hair or until they are cool, take out. Finger comb and use Nexxus Maxximum Aerosol Finishing Mist Hairspray. Then use my dryer with the cool setting on low to set everything. My hair is still soft to the touch, has serious volume, and the curls stay in.
