@Rae Neidhart I know right?! Terrible girlfriend and zero accountability. When she says “he took it the wrong way”, it’s very frustrating. It’s also so annoying to me how some of the girls on here are clearly into the money and gold digging. Kelsey isn’t the only one who is into a guy for his money, or rather, the guy’s parents’ money. If Garrett was the one with his parents’s boat and mansion, she’d be staying put. It’s annoying to watch.
The way she manipulates the narrative when she’s talking to other people about how her and Garrett are doing... just say you are interested in someone else and stop exaggerating to people as if he’s some irrational, moody nightmare
So random but I love when Annie busts out and laughs. It makes the ridiculous scenes so much more funnier

Yes, exactly! It’s become clear to me that’s she’s pushing Garrett. She doesn’t want to be the bad guy because she has been spinning her own narrative to people about him being the problematic one, but she’s having to push him harder and harder to make him dump her.
Kelsey straight up doesn't take accountability for anything. Her mom wasnt giving bad advice but she wasn't getting the whole story.

Also, Garretts "a real girlfriend wouldn't flirt with another man" was such a mic drop to me.
A real boyfriend would never walk out, leaving his girlfriend alone at a party. She is very attractive and he needs to be attentive. They aren't very good at talking about behavior and how it makes them feel, maybe it's the cameras. While Kelsey seemed passive aggressive, dump any boyfriend who doesn't comfort you when you feel as rotten as she did and crying. Mom didn't do anything about those tears either. Kelsey needs someone to show her affection and not criticize so much. I would never blame my daughter and purposely hurt her feelings. Whatever she is upset about, upsets me and I would hold her and comfort her no matter what. Sorry, Kelsey, what you need is comforting mom advice, attention and a talk about how boyfriends are supposed to treat you. And let you know you deserve the best because your heart is so big; you are there for your mother and care and worry about her. Beautiful soul imo.

@@devy024 sorry I disagree for the most part - her being attractive is completely irrelevant. We had watched her for 4 epsidoes flirt with Alex, in front of Garrett, and be inappropriate so Garrett was already feeling frustrated with the situation. I think him leaving the gala was exactly what he should've done. He shouldn't keep pandering too her, especially when she's openly flirting with another guy. And it doesn't matter how attractive you are, you don't behave the way she has been behaving if your in a relationship.
With her mum, I think them being filmed makes a difference, her mum probably felt more awkward than usual. And this show is edited so there's nothing to say her mum didn't go and hug her, they just didn't show it.

I feel like they always get early 20 somethings on these reality shows, to catch them before their brains fully develop. Once the “actors” fully comprehend the consequences of their actions, it does not make as entertaining tv.
Early 20s often dont have their own kids/families, theyre in their prime looks-wise, and they're figuring out what they want to do. and they often party. lol all appealing for reality shows

Can we discuss how awful Maddison’s mom is in this episode?
1. She seemed drunk- so that’s already a red flag
2. Maddison invites her to a dinner to celebrate a major accomplishment - her graduation - and her mom immediately says no without even thinking about it because she obviously can’t put her issues with her ex-husband aside for one dinner for the sake of her daughter.
3. She passive-aggressively blames her children for her failed marriage and the fact that she didn’t maintain her own identity.
4. She says to her daughters “you’ll find out what I mean one day” (or something very close to that) not-so subtly implying that her daughters are destined to get divorced and resent their kids in the future just like her. 👍
5. Maddison tries to tell her very negative and toxic mother about Brandon and her mother immediately guilt trips her about not being more open with her.
6. THEN, those sweet girls try to change the subject and compliment their mom’s new home and she makes a “joke” about how Maddison’s dad probably wanted gators to eat her and that’s why he left her the house. Is that the joke Mom? Dad wished you would die a horrible death? Is that the joke?
That woman is a NIGHTMARE.

That honestly makes sense as to why she surrounds herself with people that don't respect her the way that she shows respect to others. Unfortunately, all of the above plays a role in who she looks for to surround herself with as friends and boyfriends. We don't always realize that we feel comfortable around what is familiar to us; even if it's the same things that have hurt us.
when her mom came up at the dinner table her reaction was for her hand to soothe her heart energy. there was heart pain there. whether she was aware or not she used the healing energy from her hand chakra on her wounded heart chakra. a self healer and healer in general.

I feel for Garrett. He went to school with this crew and prob was excluded at times as they seem to be the ‘cool’ group. Kelsey obviously wants to be apart of the group regardless

Is it just me or is Juliette the current star of this show- she hasn't done anything crazy and she is the most comfortable and natural on camera. These guys (Alex and Garrett) are too much for me lol not the brightest bulbs.

Guys, i know i am behind on Siesta Key but i had to re-watch The Hills and Laguna first but i also just gotta say how much i LOVE these videos. They honestly make me laugh so much and I'm so grateful for them. Never heard of Siesta Key before but am so enjoying these videos. I also love the Brandon and cherry fail jump scare every damn time 😆

Have never heard of this show and was hesitant to watch it. But, I love you guys and so glad that I decided to join this journey cause I really am starting to get into this show 🤣. Thoughts so far: Kelsey and Garrett kill my brain cells when I hear them talk. They say so much but don’t say anything at all 😭. And Kelsey is a major gas lighter! I felt so bad for Garrett. She made him look like a fool and shifted so much of the blame for HER actions on him. She was trying to push him into a corner to the point that he would make the decision of breaking up. Yeah, sure, they’re “young”, but then again, they’re not in high school. They’re grown men and women.
Juliette is a total vibe. She is for women empowerment and is doing so good at trying to avoid the drama! Really surprising me!
Alex is… sigh 😬. I can’t stand when he comes on screen. Just wants what he can’t have. Likes the chase. The one awesome thing about him is his heart for helping raise awareness about autism! Kudos to that!

Have never seen Siesta Key before so enjoying watching it with you guys for the first time. It's definitely fun - the first episode I was thoroughly confused cause they're literally all the same blonde girl, but finally starting to figure out who everyone is. Can't believe there's not even one brunette, its blowing my mind. Alex is hideous and all of the boys are big dull duds, so who knows how they get to date anyone (Pauly's about the only one with jokes.) And the model one - Kelsey? You're so right, her weird grin is kinda scary. Ha. Looking forward to the next episode.

I was just diagnosed with MS at 31 so I probably judge Kelsey’s inattention to her mom too severely haha
my grandmother had it. she loved pretty healthfully till 88. I want to share she attributed her health to low fat, no red meat diet and Jesus. search around for a Dr that knows the low fat (no dairy too) protocol, and/a dietitian. Praying for you, it's a tough Dx.
