Love this chest pack, great for having things on the ready after you put your main pack down while setting up camp to have a brew or scout an area knowing you have what you need, less the weight of the main Backpack. Very thorough description. Thank you 😊
Two words : Helikontex rules Def on my wish list - sooo thoughtful and as usual highest quality. Rogh now i use a cheap wish versipn Rebuilt of the Maxpetition sybercat. Does hos work bit needed a bit of self development to suit on the front of q packpack (helikontex racoon 2) . Thx Clive for the Review ! I would use it for map navigation and snacks and cellphone.

I agree this chest pack is very comfortable with a backpack, I wore one hiking regularly. It has good organisation options too. I have all of my emergency kit in it. My complaints with it are it is not very water resistant and gets soaked inside with heavy rain. It is advisable to make sure anything of value or electronics are in plastic bags. It is also a little weighty. I've switched to using a much lighter slingbag made of Cuben fibre/ Dyneema with no organisation in it. The molle attachments points on the front (not the bottom ones) wore out. Thanks for the detailed review.
