- I packed as many technique practices that I could think of for the jaw harp in this single video. Naturally it never seems to scratch the surface of what is possible with the jaw harp--but you should find some challenging practices in the video.
I hoped to make a resource that could be helpful for you and that you could come back to time and again.
If you like the video, make sure to "like it" and subscribe and you might even want to add this to a jaw harp playlist so you don't lose the resource.

Hey, i recently found a Khakassian Pavel Potkin Jaw Harp . My sister bought it in Altai some years ago, and must've forgotten about it. I'm having a blast with it, and your videos really help me with learning, thanks!
Yes, I need to do more of this.
Nice ! Thanks for the sharing those tips ! 🙏👍
No problem 👍
Just got a jaw harp and im so excited to be able to start this practice!
Brilliant explanation. Much appreciate!
Oh man you teach great.
you are my jaw-harp-buddha ! :D
thank you so much for this tutorial.
SUBSCRIBED & 👍. Thanks so much for these exercises, think you’re the only 1 teaching these techniques, dare i say! 🤗
This is really cool, I had no idea there were so many ways to play the jaw harp. I have a feeling that I will be watching this video many times over. It's also helpful that I speak German and I know how to roll my Rs. I'm still learning not to have the metal reed from clanging the top and bottom of the harp, that's probably the one sound I am trying to avoid. I was wondering if it were possible to play scales, well now I know after watching your video. I'm working on my glottal closure, also have gotten better with the ability to speak words under my breath. These exercises a great and I know they are going to make a huge difference in how I will be able to play the jaw harp.
You can also play on either your top or lower teeth while resting it a little bit against the opposing lip. There is lots of cool jaw movements this can enable. Thank you for making such a great exercise video.
Mind if I ask what's up with your eye? Like I notice in a lot of your vids it looks almost paralyzed around the eyebrow. Sorry, I'm nosy lol Love your vids tho I just got my first jaw harp and you've been a great help.
Correct! It's paralyzed. Just born like that. :D

Yes they are.
