If not 4×4 or AWD they should have atleast make it RWD.. i hv know many people owning Safari storme 4×4 who told me that even in snow.. they put chains in rear wheels & with just 2 wheels engaged with engine they zoomed around like boss
I hear you Jithin. I have myself recommended 4x2 Compass to some folks who would never use the 4x4. The auto firms have it really hard. A lot of fans who want the 4x4 can't buy them (like me :P). PS: This Harrier was a rental from MyChoize.
@@road_not_taken of course all the features are good but actual buyers make decison like does that worth paying extra 1L for, when actual buyers answered it only 1% said yes.
Haha...You have asked me the most difficult question on this video's comments! The simple answer to this question is: Safari over Harrier and XZ over XT. But let me try to answer the exact question you asked: Safari XT vs Harrier XZ: 1. Overall as a vehicle I prefer the Safari. The brand, 4 discs, and additional boot space is enough for me to pay 1-1.2 lakhs extra. 2 extra seats are bonus for me. 2. However, the Harrier XZ gets 6 airbags instead of 2. I hope you never have to use them, but if you have to, you'll always thank yourself for having those 6 airbags. If I had to strictly choose between these two, I'd buy the Harrier XZ or wait 3-4 months for discounts and get the Safari XZ. BTW, expect heavy discounts as soon as the XUV700 comes out. I hope this answers your question:)
Hi bro, There are a couple of reasons for me saying this: 1. Please read this thread on team bhp about users facing issues with their Harrier infotainment: www.team-bhp.com/forum/technical-stuff/230939-errors-niggles-my-tata-harrier.html 2. Overall the entire UI, design, and not having full screen CarPlay/Android Auto makes the system feel a generation older than the modern infotainment systems. However, the Harrier does redeem itself with the amazing sound quality. And that's my overall feeling with the Harrier-there are a few issues but the positives more than make up for it!
Safari should be named harrier xl. There's nothing new but an elongated back that has been fixed unto harrier. Each and every thing looks copy pasted from harrier. It seems tata saved a lot of r& d with the safari. Harrier is definitely a better pick than safari and if anyone want to get the safari then they should rather wait for the new upcoming xuv 700...

Heavy +1 . I didn't talk about it in the video but I agree. Furthermore, driving a RWD SUV hard is a lot more fun due to small power slides.
Everyone complains it does not have 4x4 and not even 1% of the people buys it.
Phir bhi ek AWD ka option hona chahiye.
Agree. It's an extra ability that you might not use much. However, when you need it, it's the most important one. I hope Tata brings it in the future.

4×4 has very less demand nowadays.masses need low cost good cars
What do you mean by horrible infotainment system?

@@road_not_taken I though you were taking about the Sound, I too think that, while navigating the window for navigation is way too small
rula diya bhai
Buy 4x4 is wastage of money. Never used during last 12 years in my fortuner. Mostly used in city or highways.
Safari should be named harrier xl.

It is superb vehicle from Tata.. but it is gravitas or Harrier plus.. not a safari
