At 1:39 the trig/gate option is mentioned and there's some high level guidance as to why you might use one versus another. Does @MAKEN0ISE or anyone else have recommendations for learning more about the "why" behind this? I have read about the difference but still struggling with understanding it in practice.
Hello there :-) Is it possible to use the Mod/CLK option to notch the sequence by one clock pulse (or more), with manual triggers from the Pressure Points for example, to quickly match the sequence to a drum beat, when it is off from what I want to, if I have no way to start them together or have no "reset signal" patched? I hope I could make clear what I mean by that ;-)
Yes, with FUN.MOD.CLK turned on, any gate that comes in between clocks at the MOD input will be read as a clock. Also, you can clock manually from the René itself (though not quite as quick a response as Pressure Points) by repeatedly pressing the FUN.MOD.CLK button, which will advance it by one step each time you press it.
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC Thanks for the quick reply. Allright, that is even better, nothing to patch, when I notice some "lagging behind" with my sequence. Sometimes it's those little things, that make a good patching night even better, when you have the quick and easy solutions at hand w/o referring to a manual or, like in this case, starting and stopping a thing over and over before you can move on to another aspect. Love it, thanks!
Thank you MN for making this beautiful Case
A spectacular update to the Rene. Thank you!
Hey my friend! Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Stay Blessed!
Sweetwater now sells the above and I'm glad I own one.
Synth-focused indy shops too - Control, Control Voltage, Perfect Circuit, Detroit Modular, Analogue Haven, etc.
What’d you do at the end there? It warped the sequence in such a great way!
Do you mean in the final few seconds? Changed the key on the Quant page : )

Here is a video on the topic that we never released, which I've set to "Unlisted" so you can view it. ruclips.net/video/83Xe6BEyZww/видео.html
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC wow thanks a ton! I need to learn Tempi more as well. Hope everyone at MN is doing alright!

I am waiting for someone like Caspar Hellelager to take the Rene 2 and make some soundscapes with it. And more people to do the same
