Tennessee has got some damn good pitching! Great job, Matthew.

Good game. Pickens is the moment for TN, but I was expecting more from LSU.
    Thanks, Matt!

Beth is too in love with Berzon.. Lynch should’ve pitched. Tennessee couldn’t hit her yesterday

Berzon didn't have a run until the 6th inning!!! LSU's entire lineup isn't hitting. Can't win without run support.

13:00 when the baserunner has a grasp on what shes doing but the firstbase coach is clueless. shut up coach! she knows what shes doing. she doesn't need to get back on the bag if no ones there yet...geez no wonder some of these girls cant run bases well

I sometimes wonder what stringency and qualities it takes to be a first base coach??. I've been seeing a lot of this the past decade or so. Just really poor coaching.

@@ddave7026 well if this helps I can tell you this Houston Astros had a first base coach for like a decade who never learned to speak English! They are really not much more than reminders of how many outs there are and to repeat the phrase "if it's in the air hold up, on the ground you're running"
oh and they are mobile equipment lockers

In defense of the coach: If the runner is 10-12ft away from the base, a good throw will get her. You got the lead, why be foolish. LSU can come back.

@@halglover7089 because she knew where the first baseman was and if u can draw a throw theres a chance for an overthrow (especially in softball). she knew she had at least until the first baseman got to the bag or passed behind her. there was no chance at being thrown out because there was no one at the bag...she was trying to draw a throw, her actions were deliberate, not a mistake. she is most likely one of their better base runners based on her actions right there. a bad baserunner would panic and hurry back to the bag
