Today is the BUSIEST day I have had in a long time. Thank goodness I have my routines in place to help me stay in control and come out on the other side feeling good! My morning routine, daily focus, zone clean, and evening routine fits into the tiny spaces of time all day. I found this cleaning routine a couple years ago and it has changed my whole house and mindset from being a complete disaster to being peaceful and calm.

Steph is 100% right about Tru Earth products!! I was so lucky to win the laundry giveaway she had a couple months ago - the prize was All.The.Products and they are every bit as effective as she said. The detergent strips are so easy! And it takes waaaay less rinses to get the soap out, which saves even more $$. The dryer balls are amazing! I bet they cut at least 10 if not 20% off my drying time; I have a gas dryer and can vouch that this is true, same as Steph's electric. I have a couple days off now and plan to take a moment to buy a bunch of Tru Earth products to give away as gifts; I'm absolutely sure my friends will like their products. LOL - my only downside: I bought 2 jugs of detergent right before I found out I won! It seems like a waste to discard it, but ... 🤔😉

You have such a beautiful home, I love your kitchen especially! Also may I just say it’s so nice to see a mom doing all the things that need to get done without complaining about how hard it all is because of kids. Yes kids can make things difficult sometimes, but systems are so helpful, and kids are also such a joy. Thank you for this video!

The routines really helped when the schools were closed down and had to homeschool our four daughters all different grades. My sister was so suprised how I kept my home clean and tidy. When I told her how I did it she was like nope not going to work. Which is a shame because her older kids are at a age they could pick up one of the morning and evening tasks. My oldest helps vacuuming because she loves to do that and my second always helps with clearing the table after dinner and my youngest two help sorting out laundry and putting dirty laundry in the hamper. It may be little tasks but it helps a lot

Hi Steph, I’m saying this out of concern so please don’t take this the wrong way. I think you should consider blurring out the logo of the donut place at around the 10 minute mark. It’s not a big regional chain and with some Googling people could find out what town you live in, which since I gather is a pretty smallish place could be dangerous. I don’t think any of your viewers would do anything but I have heard dozens of stories of people having to move because of something like that

I just found your channel recently and want to say thank you! I have three kids under 6 that are home educated and expecting number 4 in a month, sometimes I really have NO motivation whatsoever to clean. However your attitude towards cleaning is what makes me want to fit in what I can when I can! And it's changed my attitude towards my family making a 'mess' where I've tidied too, I don't get irritated so much anymore and I don't feel so resentful so thank you! I also have a helpful husband 🙌🙌 thank goodness!

LOVE this video! Takes me back a few years...just a suggestion made NOT in a spirit of negativity, but I learned to have my young children help me with chores: 3 yo can empty dishes and just put out of reach things on the counters... And I emptied sharp items first. And by 6yo they could dust and vacuum pretty well. Sometimes getting it done imperfectly was getting it done as well as I could. I also Sharpie marked the washer and dryer settings so they could switch laundry. As a family of 8 we did 2 to 3 loads every day. Once you start teaching them and inspect, they get better! And now that I'm about to launch my third child on his own, it's so good to know they can cook and clean for themselves. My own mother didn't have me do anything and that was a real handicap. I had my kids help because I was exhausted trying to keep up with all of it myself😊

I like the term floor check. I sweep the kitchen after every meal and get the living room floors every other day.
I love having a robot vacuum. It bothers me if I’m home, but I run it EVERY time I leave the house. It helps SO much! I still do a thorough vacuum once a week, but toddler crumbs don’t get overwhelming.
That’d be a big help with that third baby mess.
I’m almost 39 weeks pregnant and your videos are really helping me get through the cleaning in my home !

Hi Steph, Game changer - run the dishwasher immediately after dinner so it is done by bedtime. If there are dishes for nighttime snacks put them in the sink then empty dishwasher before bed, load the snack dishes and it is ready to go with the first dishes of the next day. My step mom told me this years ago and I thought she was a fanatic but I started doing this as my nighttime routine and I love not having to start my day with emptying the dishwasher! I will even just do a quick wash cycle to make sure it is done by 8:30 pm.

Yesterday I saw an interior design photo of bedrooms and the bed was made exactly like yours with the exception of the pillows double stacked on the outside, all in white. Made me laugh because it was "fancy" and I knew how easy it would be to make!

The FlyLady system has been a life changer for me. I wish I had learned about it when I was younger. I think I first heard about it from you, Steph! Then, I went on to read the book. I changed my mindset and my way of doing things. I am so much happier these days. I love to watch you videos. It helps me stay motivated.

I really love watching your videos and I heave learnt some new tips. My morning routine is similar to yours, but there is one big difference: my son (9) mentioned that he likes having breakfast much more if we sit together at the table having breakfast and talk a little bit. :-)

Recently discovered your channel! I love it! I have always thought that if I can just get in a routine it would be easier on our family! I'm a nurse in the US and I don't always feel like I can relate to some of the stay at home mommy vloggers. Ty for such an inspirational video, what i find really helpful is when you explain the logic in the things you do like "i like to know where to put dirty dishes so i empty the dishwasher first thing" - i've never used one so I find that helpful to understand why fly lady does this lol and other things like not extra pillows on the bed so it can be made in 1 min - So inspiring that I got to cleaning my house tonight TY Steph!! keep doing what you do, we love it :D
