I’ve been on a color analysis journey lately and have been hesitant to pay because a majority are done by non women of color who always type us as winter and autumn so this is beyond refreshing finding your channel, thank you for applying all these concepts to our beautiful color variations, I have had a hard time understanding how Caucasian women can fall into each category but somehow we always fall into two lll
its because most of the time, they rely a lot on the common hair/eye colors for each season. for poc, its SOOO SOOO much better to do draping. also the fact that most poc get coded the wrong undertone because of their overtone😭😭 at some point i thought i was warm toned cus my asian skin had kind of a yellowish overtone, turns out im actually a deep winter
I'm confused. I use Mac nw50 so I know that's a neutral warm mahogany with red undertone. But my hair is black with blue undertone and my eyes are very dark hardly can see Mt pupils.
I think the language is easier to understand when contrast is called high or low, clear or muted, or stark or subtle - calling it light or dark can get confusing when you're saying combinations like "clear cool" instead of like "stark cool"
When she says clear, it means bright, "soft," means either muted, or grayed out. When she says "Dark," cool, she's talking about the eyes and hair of the individual, their features.
im either a clear winter or a dark winter. thanks for this video series!! ive been trying to figure out my color style for months, especially being someone who loves warmer bright colors so much. i have alot to think about 🥺
Thank you for being a voice and holding up a mirror to all black people of all complexions I started cleaning out my closet and I couldn't figure out which stuff to get rid of what stuff I should keep out of the clothes I stopped wearing and why I stopped wearing them. I'm too warm to be a winter and I discovered that I'm dark So i knew I was a dark autumn, i was just missing my saturation I got an app called dressika it's not perfect but I realized I'm less soft and more contrasted which the language behind that is soooo confusing for me. But I'm so happy to have this information. I'll hate shopping a little less now
I like this. I do not see enough color seasonal analysis explained with pictures for women of color. I do have one issue. You used Jasmine Sanders for both cool and warm. Which one is she?
@10:34 - is what throws me off. In reference to my comment on the Dark Winter video. ❤️ Being an actual dark brown skinned soft summer vs a dark brown skinned muted dark winter. 🤷🏾♀️
Hi Louise! It comes down to contrast, a muted dark autumn has muted colors but they still need contrast, but a soft summer need muted colors but a lot of contrast overpowers them
I can't understand which season i am, i am olive i think, maybe soft cool summer, because the high intensity of winter is too much for me... Anyone can help me?

I will be uploading a new video on how to determine contrast soon, and I will definitely keep this in mind
Thank you!

@@victoriataylor5584 see 8:46… where she asks “soft or dark?” & soft is compared to dark.
But she clarified my question in her reply.
Yay! A deeper soft cool!

I’m really struggling to find which one I am
Thanks for the video. Could you do a video on olive skin tone?
Great suggestion!
Great video

@@cocoastyling Got it! Thanks for clearing that up for me, Micah! ❤️
bless you!!
I'm a fans of you..👍
Thanks!
dark cool winter
I wish I found this channel sooner
What about dark with neutral undertone
Erica, that depends? Neutral cool, or neutral warm?
Neutral warm undertones are peachy or greenish. Neutral cool undertones pinkish or grayish.
Otherwise, you're just neutral, you're not cool or warm.
Thank you.
Can you tell me if I’m an Oprah color lol deep cool?
Interesting.
I really don't know what my undertones are. My veins are green and purple. My hair look jet black but have dark brown undertones in sunlight.
I guess I’m dark cool or maybe soft cool out of my tan
I just figured out that I'm a dark cool!
I can't understand which season i am, i am olive i think, maybe soft cool summer, because the high intensity of winter is too much for me... Anyone can help me?
Notice she said Light Cool, when the title said Warm Light.
what gets me stuck is i have warm dark brown eyes with cool black brown hair
brown eyes and black hair can be in every season, its best to determine your season by looking at the state of your bare complexion and draping
Great video
Thanks!
