Great to see a nice soaring day at T.Paso! Fun memories from our mission out there a few years ago...even with a flat tire on one of trucks we had a good time. Might need to make another winter trek back to the area...so many good times in the 2 trips we've enjoyed !
New pilot here - thank you for sharing your flights and stoke! I'd love to live to get down there and get some flights in. Flying with you would be a bonus!!
@@AlpineDave7 we always enjoy visitors down here, but we're typically not a destination because the weather is so bad. The exceptions to that would be the dry canyon fun fly memorial Day weekend and Columbus Day weekend
@@YankeeinSC1 It's good to hear from you Todd! . There are mesquite's right by the car, I don't like landing where Rick did. If I'm not perfectly accurate my wing will end up in the mesquite bushes
@edward_day flybubble.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Quicky I have bought them direct, but my latest set I bought from Fly bubble. I buy things from them occasionally even though he has to pay for shipping from the UK. They offer good service.
@@edward_day Do you fly with Paralocks or Quickouts? I grew frustrated with the other types of speed system release gizmos. My research led me to the Quickies.
@@paddledogs It's not too bad, although it's longer than it used to be after the area was designated as wilderness and we are now forbidden to drive up a Jeep road which made the height half as long. For old man me, it takes me about an hour from the car. Most pilots could do it in half an hour.
Glad to see another Nelsons video!

@@NelsonsWings Thanks for the info! I'll be sure to reach out if I find myself down there!
@AlpineDave7 You should post some flying videos on your channel.
Glad you are back! Happy flying!
@@schmohawk_ thanks! I've been getting some air time but need to stop being lazy and work on videos.
@@NelsonsWings air time is so much more important!
😮 Good flying conditions. Like the shot from the ground.
@@carlcolorado3549 Thanks! The weather's bad for at least the next 5 days, so I'll try to get a couple more videos uploaded.
Looks fantastic. Where is Torrey Paso? Couldn't find anything on Googe Maps.
Nice flight.........and stuck the landing!
Where's Clint?.........he don't fly no more?
@@ripmanridin7092 He's up in San Francisco flying right now, today he's probably at Ed Levin in or maybe The Dumps
Very nice video where that place is.
After a few motor flights this week I can hardly wait to get that noise and weight off my back again soon! Nice flight, but why not land by the car?

Hi, what are the speed system connectors (connecting the brummel hooks) for your quick release set up?
