    That helps for sure. The sales associate kind of warned us that it may be a bit hot so we opted for the In Balance comfort layer. And if that's not enough I saw that they had that additional foam layer made with cooling gel. Thanks so much for the info. We were extremely nervous since we were going from a traditional innerspring to a Sleep Number. (Since it's quite a bit more expensive than just buying another innerspring.) That makes me feel much better knowing that someone with this same model really likes it!! ;-) DD

    Good video, although parts went a bit too fast. Finding the holes for the air tubes took some time and getting all parts oriented correctly was a tester. Thanks for the help!

    I've had my bed now for over a month, and I am very happy with it. I saved myself the headache and just had the tech people come out and set it up. The most interesting things about this bed are, no more back pain in the morning. Put simply back issues are gone. Also, for the first time in years I don't wake up groggy in the morning. I feel completely rested, even if I am just taking a nap. Another interesting thing was finding that my back appreciated a softer setting, and I can really tell a difference. This is disappointing, since I have always preferred the feel of a firmer mattress, and now my body is telling me otherwise. Just a symptom of getting older, I guess. LOL

      MrBrad898540 this is so good to hear. Yes myself and my wife change over the year and months to firm and soft. It’s a wonderful bed

    We bought the SN ILE 360 about 2 weeks ago. Still waiting on delivery and set up which is on the 30th. It's an air mattress until then, LOL. But it's interesting to see you set this up on your bed frame. The store associate told us that our bed frame would have to be assembled "around our SN" - so set up for this model has changed some, I see. You have the same bed frame design that we do except our entire frame is wrought iron. I'm a bit nervous about the bed and frame aesthetic.

    • @ipon70

      Yeah my buddy got a new bed and the assembly was a little different but overall the same. I think you will really enjoy your bed.

    Extremely helpful. We just purchased this ILE bed yesterday. It of course won't be here for a couple of weeks. I was curious of how you guys were liking your sleep number. I have heard mixed reviews from friends and family. People either really really love it or they really really hate it. I thought it was extremely comfy in the store but laying on it for 10 minutes to test out and sleeping on it every night are two different things. We also purchased the SleepIQ option. In your opinion do you think it is worth the extra $300? Thanks for making the vid. We will definitely be referencing your video when our bed arrives for us to put together! ;-) DD

    • @ipon70
      @ipon70  9 лет назад +3

      We still really like it. The sleep IQ is nice especially for the first month while you are watching how you slept and adjusting to find the sweet spot for firm or soft. Here is the downside to sleep IQ. If you take a nap or anyone lays down in bed in the middle of the day it counts it, so later on in the night when you go back to bed it rates you lower because it counts the earlier time as part of your sleep rating. The only other downside would be is it sleeps a little hot. So be ready for that or swap out for cooler foam. So lighter sheets, or cooler room..whatever works for you. Hope that helps.

    The topper is mostly that egg carton material? Or was there a good bit of padding above that?

    • @ipon70
      @ipon70  4 года назад +1

      bri_ the only other padding is the material that it was zipped in to. So yes there is more padding but not like a bunch or something special that was extra. Just what you see there.

    Thanks for the comment I wish I would have captured it correctly. I tried to one hand the video but as you know you can't connect the tubes with one hand to the bed. So I deleted the footage as it just wasn't usable. But yes thanks for the comment.

    • @ipon70
      @ipon70  7 лет назад +4

      Mathieu Bouvier sorry it took me so long to reply. To answer that question is tough. I sleep really well, and like everyone there are nights you don't. Overall I would say since having the bed I sleep better then I have in the past. Is that because I am older now, changed states, change job positions, I don't know. So while I still feel it's a great investment into an awesome nights sleep, if I had to say it's only because of the bed....I don't know. But it still tops my list as worth every penny spent. I hope that helps.

      I bought an iLE in Nov of 2015. I really really like it!!! Never slept better! In store was around $2500. Got mine on Black Friday...HALF off!! I highly recommend watching for sales. Usually on holiday weekends!

    Looks like it’s been about a year since a status update...so would you still recommend buying this model? We are in the market and I have my eye on this iLE. I’ve noticed that your one complaint is that it sleeps hot. Can’t you change out the topper to a gel cooled one or is this not an option? I have to admit, I definitely like it cool when I sleep and this has raised a red flag in my eyes. Thanks for sharing this video. Helps a lot!

      B Sharp HEY!! Yes we love the bed. In fact just recently we purchased the cooler top and sleep so nice and cool now. We got their cool pad, sheets, and pillow covers. My buddy just purchased a brand new ILE, and he really likes it. I am actually getting ready to update this with a brand new video to show some of the cool changes they have made since i made this video. Please do me a solid and use my customer number listed here on RUclips so i can get some credit, and it costs you nothing. Enjoy your new bed when you get it, you will love it!!

      Honest E we still own the same bed and still love it. The sleep number beds are great. Just stay away from the entry level and you will be fine. I at one point was going to do a collaboration with them, but they wanted to shoot the video in their store so I said no. Anyway, enjoy your bed when you get it!!

      @@ipon70 Thank you for the reply. I ordered the 2020 version of your bed, but did not get the base. We have an adjustable base already. In hoping it's worth it, but knowing another person still likes theirs after all that time is comforting. I'm having them install it, even though I'm betting I could do it myself. Now, I just have to find sheets that won't slip off and some kind of bedframe that can go around our base.

    • @ipon70
      @ipon70  4 года назад +1

      @@ipon70 I have had the bed a few days now and I found it odd that they brought it fully assembled like any other mattress. It fit just fine on the base we had, but they had to lay it on top of the hoses. I asked if that might be a problem and they said no, but I still drilled holes for the hoses to go through for that peace of mind. I can't decide yet if I like it or if I need to keep digging for the right number. It says I slept 7 peacefully hours, which seems a bit higher than it felt like. Regardless, it's still more comfortable than our last mattress and if it lasts and stays at least that comfortable, I'll be happy.

    • @ipon70
      @ipon70  4 года назад

      Honest E yeah give it a few weeks and watch how it plays out because you have plenty of time to return it if ultimately you don’t like it.

    Is this bed an adjustable one? I need to move mine, disassemble it to take out of the room so I can have the carpet cleaned. Need help :-(

    • @ipon70
      @ipon70  8 лет назад +1

      +KarlaJorge No mine is not adjustable. If you have an adjustable like my friend purchased, its a lot heavier to move and doesn't break down as small as this one. I would just pull the mattress put it on its side, and then move the bed frame part out sideways also. I hope that helps... If you have the one like mine, it breaks down very small and very quickly.

    • @KarlaJorge
      @KarlaJorge 8 лет назад

      +ipon70 I'm not so much interested in making it small, it's to take it apart and put it back together. It's just for cleaning the carpet.

      Yes, it was a very tight fit but did go. It has made some really bad dents into the plastic black frame, because it sits so tight into our frame. But yes I would believe it should go with almost any bed frame.

      Ted Allran great question, it was a separate purchase as the sleep number bed comes with I believe a 25 year warranty but only if it’s on a solid bottom not a spring or old style kind of flimsy box. Hopefully that answers your question.

    ok lets start with the purchase of a 9,000 bed that supposed to have a 25 yr warranty. 1. if you are a cuddling couple, this split top bed with cause you a divorce, because there is always a 12" uncomfry gap between the 2 of you.. 2. when you call for support you will be on hold for 35-50 mins. then you will get a rude reply for every issue you have. we have owned the bed for 1 year. and I thought pillow tops companys were bad.
