Ruben, you won't get one of these for $1000! :-) The air bladder and memory foam topper are two of the key components to the bed. The other parts, like the microprocessor-controlled, variable speed pump with internet connection and smart phone control, the real time sleep performance reporting, the wireless remote controls, and the bed frame and partition parts, do add a little more complexity (and cost) to it, to be fair. I made this video so that I could recall how to assemble this thing in the future, if needed. I posted it here as a service to others, so they could benefit from the effort. You won't be needing the video, it seems.
The mattress comes complete with its own air pump, which can be controlled with remote controls or from your smart phone via wifi. (Sorry, I just now saw you question.)
They inflated it before hooking it up to the pump. They have a separate air compressor in the corner. I’m having the same problem. The hose attachments that connect the mattress to the pump are normal attachments
I had a sleep number 20 years ago - I hated it, it did nothing but lose air every night and when it was working it wasn't comfortable. Watching this video I'm surprised that the one I had 20 years ago looked exactly the same as this one 20 years later. Way over priced $$$ and way over rated.
@@peterpalmer7014 He did not say he kept it 20 years. He said he had one 20 years ago. We really don't know how long he kept it. Maybe he still have it in the garrage!
Thanks for the great video. It's exactly what I needed to disassemble mine.
I had King size Sleep Number Bed when I lived in my home. I LOVED it. I am surprised to hear of all the negative comments.
urprised
What did you use to pump tje chambers up
Felt like I just watched a $1000 dollar air mattress with a little outside layer of foam put together.

You did!
I do not need a head board. I live in a Retirement facility. I am in independent living section. Space is limited.
Put plastic underneath during flip to keep from scraping the cover all to hell
What did they use to inflate the mattress?

Does the mattress have to connect to an electrical outlet? I only plan to buy the mattress, not the frame.
Yes.
It needs to be connected to run the pump to change air pressure. Without the pump, the pressure remains the same.
I just need the mattress. I have the frame.
Waste of money! Never again
installers didnt even take off there shoes
THEIR shoes, not THERE shoes
There yoouuu go

I did not believe anyone would be stupid enough to keep a bed they don't like for 20 years until I read your message and was proven wrong.
