Slow clap 👏 so uplifting on so many levels. The visual, the story and most importantly the message. Thanks for the reminder Jay even during these tough times we have some amazing places in our back yard yet to be explored, so get out there and check them out.
I could not agree with your last two sentences more! I’ve seen some amazing places in my day. Many have been ruined. Some remain the same, or rarely, they’re even better. There’s many more to be found still. Leave them better than you found them. Wonderful film Jay
I can always count on you, Jay to smack me upside the head with your skills as a photographer/videographer, director, editor, writer and narrator!! Every time you post a piece of gold like this I'm so envious and get that yearning feeling to see if I can back into some kind of production work, but that's just me. If there is some kind of RUclips Video Awards, make sure you enter everything you've done this year. Like I've said before, I don't know why you don't have millions of subscribers, and honestly a lot of your content should be shown in schools across Canada,...and the States!! Keep it up, young Man and we'll keep watching!!
thank you so much to jay and Sam for giving us the pleasure of seeing beautiful places like these without even leaving our home. i think i speak for everyone when i say that what you do is amazing and inspiring. thank you so much
My brothers and I own a fishing cabin on Lake Atikwa which is just North East of Isinglass so this hits home to me. Absolutely love that area of Ontario! Great video Jay!
makes my day when you upload Jay! Every aspect of your videos is spot on. I watch your videos over and over for every little tip I can get to catch more fish!
Yet another beautiful piece of cinema from Jay. That water really is clear! Reminds me of some of the free dives I’ve done in Lake Superior! Absolutely stellar video. You never fail to disappoint!
Your creative and spectacular capture of both the journey and the locations is a gift to us above-water outdoors-types. I will remember these shots in my mind's eye as I fish this summer, imagining the terrain and fish below me. Thank you for making every guest your best friend and for letting us into your loving marriage. Great final word!
Beyond amazing...some of the best views and wilderness I’ve ever seen!!! You are beyond blessed to be in this area and experience all of this!! Bucket list trip!
My favorite was the drone shot (12 min 13 sec) of the canoe raft loaded with the gear, super awesome shot Jay. Thanks for putting this adventure together, excellent production.
Jay this was a crazy ass video, amazing adventure and a good showcase of what Ontario has to offer for people wanting to explore our great country. Cheers from Saskatchewan and keep the content coming
Isinglass was such a special lake to catch my first lake trout and whitefish. While I was there I was not alone, a float plane was there as well. Maybe it was you? The N# was N85KA. This was August 2011
I'm such a big Jay Siemens fan, that I noticed when he first posted it, the i in isinglass wasn't capitalized. But now it is! Another banger btw Jay. Awesome job!!
One incredible video. Breathtaking footage. I was just beginning to write a baseball story and I was thinking of where in Ontario to set it and the first city that came to mind aside from where I live was Kenora, I wonder why.... ;)
I fished there once in the winter for a day but only caught small lakers, I have a cabin on crow lake which is just south of Cameron, we take the snowmobiles through portages to get there.
Love your videos man keep it up. I don’t know what it is or why but most of your videos give a feeling of hope for some reason. Anyways... 👍🏻. Well done
This was awesome to watch Jay! I love your drone shots you capture with your Mavic Pro 2. Are you planning more scuba vids this summer/fall? I hope so as it really adds a unique perspective to your videos.
Is it just me or does "The Journey to Isinglass" sound like something from Lord of the Rings?!? The films are always so good! Is the Thrive Visuals animation new?
That was beautiful and if you wouldn’t have said the name of the lake I would have assumed it was a southern lake. The blue and green colors are insane.
Awesome my mom used to camp at Gordon lake many years ago my dad also fished Gordon as a kid and he said he looked over the side of the boat and got scared because it looked bottomless. Check out Jay Edward lake and the Edward lake chain of lakes we rented a cabin from Wayne clarke a family friend and there is some amazing fishing as well as muskie fishing. We used our underwater cameras to watch massive muskies off a hump laying in wait of the walleyes we were seeing bite our jigs. They remained dormant the entire time. My grandfather used to guide on these lakes and he had an encounter with a muskie the size of his boat the size of a rail tie he said and the customer asked him to net it he said how would we even get it back to camp? No sense in wasting a beautiful creature so he let it go. There are many stories of insane muskie fishing all this just a short portage from beautiful Gordon lake I believe to cobble lake.
@@JaySiemens Wayne also owns northern lights resort which is on cedar lake I camled there as a kid beautiful lake and good fishing a true gem if you go to Edward take a drive as it is not far and check out cedar too
Too bad you didn’t get any footage of the boat that’s at the bottom of Isinglass you can see it from the surface but about 15-20 feet deep. Unbelievable lake though!
To say “Well done” would be an understatement....... this is truly a gem and your portrayal is spot on!!!
So kind! Thank you!
this is one of the coolest videos i’ve seen in a long long time, unreal! Goosebumps!
Amen to the goosebumps, I'm shivering!
THANK YOU!!
You've got the best content of every fishing channel I know of! Your awesome bud.

Why did you chose a cinematic aspect ratio for a RUclips video?
If you've watched more of my vids I usually do. It's a passion.
Also who makes that tent??
Gazelle
