    Pt. 2 - Carrying your new score to unnecessary public places so you can be admired with your _impressive_ Liszt sheet music by people who don't know who Liszt is - like airports, public transit, cafés, and showing it off like it's a designer handbag - asserting your alpha dominance on society as a top-tier virtuoso Pianist

    This is exactly what happens to me every single time. I bought one time Gaspard de la Nuit. They put it on the mailbox and they folded it horizontally 💀

    Recently bought like 5 books of sheet music, they all came in perfect quality but that's probably because I have no mailbox lmao.

    Three months ago I won a Henle Giveaway on their Instagram page and it took around a month and a half to receive the score that I won (it was a collection of scarlatti sonatas) and when I got the package there was a big fold on one of the corners :(

      I don't even print them anymore. Instead, I store them on a tablet-laptop-type-thing and organize them in folders by composer and instrument. I probably have a bit of a problem.

    I find ordering digitally best. You get the composition immediately. I down loaded to my IPad and it’s better than a hard copy.

    • @hoosas5998
      @hoosas5998 Год назад +1

      Completely disagree, having a ton of physical music books gives me joy. Smelling the pristine pages… the anticipation of delivery… being able to write down on the pages… and even shockingly it’s satisfying to get them all worn and used after learning a piece idk why.

    • @Robert-oz9fy
      @Robert-oz9fy Год назад

      @@hoosas5998 If you enjoy hard copy sheet music. You can print the digital file. Receiving Digital sheet music is instant after the order. However, using an iPad allows you to turn pages with a remote at your feet. It allows you to revive a copy instantly. Digital data is much easier to manage by having files with the sheet music in the digital file. You can also make clearer notes on the document.
