I made this potting bench for my 93 year old neighbor because she still is able to get outside to work in her flower garden.... she loves it and she gave me a hug and said nobody has ever done anything like that for her before. Thankyou for the easy plans. I am not a carpenter and have limited tools. It made her day.
Great project by a great teacher! I have all the supplies and can’t wait to make it! Getting hot now in the east coast…wish we were in Alaska! Love and hugs ❤️👵🏻👶🏻
This video popped up just when I needed it. I was shopping for a table and who wants to spend that kind of money. Thank you, This is on my to do list. Super cute. Always loving your designs. So grateful for your mind and sharing your plans.
Ana- This potting bench is a great project. Thank you for sharing this with us. It is amazing how much your children have grown. Time really goes by quickly. Take care and enjoy them children while they are still young. I hope all is well with your family . God Bless you all 🙏👏👏💕
HOW DID YOU KNOW? The bad winds tore up my old one had outside and kinda think i want this inside the sunroom tho! Looks beautiful and functional!!! Thank you so much and hugs to the family and OH MY they are all growing up so quickly! Many hugs ya’lls way!! ❤️☮️❤️
Fantastic. I will build one . Just build a garden bench of your project and it look absolutely great, my wife love it. It is big and comfy . Thank you , keep going.
Perfect timing Ana! It's like you were reading my mind, I am starting my first vegetable garden this year and this will come in handy for sure! Thank You for the plans. Wishing you and your beautiful family all of best.
Oh my gosh! Good luck on your first veggie garden! I am on my 5th year of growing tomatoes, green beans and peppers! It's so rewarding to be able to just walk outside to pick fresh veggies! Still haven't been able to get zucchini or cucumbers to grow. Happy planting!
I love this one too. What am I saying I love all your videos. Also love how your baby wants to help momma too. :) Thanks for this project Ana. Stay safe.
That is so nice looking. Just amazing Ana. Your going to have your house filled up in no time w/wonderful, strong furniture that will last a lifetime, just like my grandfather who made his own furniture. I still have every piece of furniture he made me. And one piece that my great grandfather made. I call these heirlooms. Things that you can pass down to your family. He's furniture means so much to me & I hope my kids will enjoy it as much as I did. Thank you for sharing your videos with us. Save safe, & God bless us all durning this dang COVID-19 virus, Chris from Missouri
Anna, another great home project. I have been looking for a good plan for building a potting bench. I love the kids running through the video. Thanks for sharing. Felix
Hi Ana I think its fantastic that you build such beautiful furniture. You are my inspiration and thank you very much on sharing your work with the rest of us. I am definitely going to start building some of your furniture you have made. Please stay well and safe you and your family through these difficult times.
Loved it love all your videos thank for all the love your builds are so useful, and affordable your family gets more beautiful everyday thanks for sharing
Hi Ana....love love love this potting bench/bar....tfs....Take care ...stay safe....Spring was almost here in Canada but it snowed a couple inches yesterday...
I am currently building this project, and as Ana said, this thing gets big and heavy. I am sanding most of the pieces before assembling them. I think this will save time and effort. Best to assemble close to where it will eventually be used!
I like that she share her build plan no email sign up needed. Its why she is successful with her channel. So many channels charging you with small fees I can see why a lot of them have less than 10k subscribers its turn off fo me. If you look at Mordernbuild and other successful channels most of them share a free plan build.
Thank you for the idea and plans. I took your plans and made it my own with a second shelf. Turned into my new microwave stand! It was fun. Next I am going to try your Rustic X Console Table.
Very impressive video. I live in Australia. I am going to make two small side tables for keeping coffee while sitting in a recliner . I am a beginner to woodwork and want to start hobby as my retirement project .
Wonderful! Thanks for the visit, I have a lot of free plans for sidde tables:) www.ana-white.com/woodworking-projects/categories/living-room-tables-and-accent-table-plans/side-and-end-table-plans
Great Job ! We have one we bought at a local Box store! Ours has a bin for potting soil. Yours looks a lot more structurally sound! Again thanks for the video! 👍🏼👍🏼
Que terreno espectacular para hacer grandes cosas y convertirlo en naturaleza pura. Felicitaciones por tener cspacidad y tiempo para todo. Muchisimas bendiciones.
How’s the man cave coming along guys? I haven’t seen Jacob in his little patch of paradise for a while. Thanks for sharing all your amazing ideas, one day my hubby will buy me a mitre saw & kreg Jig so I can finish my puppy palace.
The linked screws were not the same ones you showed in the video so now I have a whole box of wood screws 😬 I can use them for other things but correct links would have saved a second visit to the store. Thanks Ana! :)
What an adorable project! Thank you for creating and sharing once again. May I ask if you remember where you picked up your safety glasses (with the black rim)? I've looked everywhere but I just can't find it. If you dont remember that's ok!👍👍
Absolutely beautiful! I’ll have to add this one to the to do list! Have you ever thought about doing an aquarium stand? That’s on my list as well. Thanks for the awesome plans!
Ana, my pallet bench is in need of some TLC, but maybe I'll take on this instead! >>> And, have you considered doing an aeroponic, inside vertical garden? I have been researching "Tower Garden Home" to use here in Maine. Your home looks like you may have the perfect places for something like that. Check it out. Thank you for continuing to let us be part of your little home in Alaska. Have enjoyed you for a number of years. ☮️☮️
I know you cant visit, but is there any chance of you asking the people who are living in the tiny houses you built to film or take pictures of how they are living in their tiny houses? especially the open concept, one. thanks
You have an awesome God gift to explain to dummies!!! Love it I have been trying to find a video that you may have done for Murphy bed can you please show us one!!! 💓💓💓
Just gorgeous, Ana! I love the simplicity of the design and the tone of the stain you chose. I will be making one of these. Now I am off to find a level flat surface large enough to build it (#garageslopefail)....Thank you for all the tips and details!
So excited I just bought the wood!! I built the bed frame several years ago and love it. Quick question for this plan. In the instructions the last 2 it says use 3- 2x4 @48 and 1-2x4@50 are they suppose to be 2x6s ? Thanks. I was measuring and was like ahh I don’t have enough 2x4s and 2 spare 2x6s
I thought I was crazy! I haven't started cutting yet because I kept coming out with not enough 2x4s. The table top is 2x6 and the top shelf right? I just want to make sure before I cut.
please look at your buying guide and instructions. you say to buy 3 2x6 8’ length but you don’t have but 1 cut for the slats of the 2x6. we had to figure it out plus since you said to cut 10 at the slat size we couldn’t get the upper shelf cut at 50”. so we will use a 1x1 to frame the top shelf.
I’m going to try to build this as an outdoor bar. I’ve never built anything from scratch and I’m not very handy but it’s a challenge. I don’t have a sander do you recommend a certain one for little jobs like this? The price ranges are like $250-35 so I didn’t know if it mattered.

I think this would be a great coffee bar.
I hadn’t thought of that!!! You are too smart!
Mousa Motawy shut up
Totally agree
Made a version of this ... It’s a potting bench but My wife calls it a margarita bench 😁
me too🙋♂️
Great project by a great teacher! I have all the supplies and can’t wait to make it! Getting hot now in the east coast…wish we were in Alaska! Love and hugs ❤️👵🏻👶🏻
Thank you!
We did this project on Saturday afternoon and are happy with the results. We made our 60 inches wide for a little more work space. Thank you.
Wonderful, if you'd like to share please email us a photo at anawhitesite@gmail.com and we will upload as a brag post on the site:)

I can think of so many uses for this. Need a pockethole jig, but if I follow your instructions correctly 🤓 these screws look well hidden. Thanks Ana!

I really appreciate how simple you made this. I just got my first little pocket hole jig and will try it out on this project. Many thanks! Julie
Fabulously simple build but what a lovely stylish result. Really nice. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for the idea and plans. I took your plans and made it my own with a second shelf. Turned into my new microwave stand! It was fun. Next I am going to try your Rustic X Console Table.
Great mod!
Nice and simple Ana. For X's I would cut half lap. Also very easy to do
Thanks Ana for the plan. I'm gonna build this and use it as my study desk. So comfy with leg room underneath

I hope you are all safe and well. You have great social distancing!😁 Thank you!

Lovely work! I like the design of your potting bench.
Glad you like it, free plans on my site!
I’ve redesigned this so that it will hold my saddle-pads and I can use it to put my boots on and get on my horse. So cool!
This would also make a gorgeous sideboard in the kitchen.
Good idea.
Looks great. Perfect for that spot. Nice one, Ana.
The linked screws were not the same ones you showed in the video so now I have a whole box of wood screws 😬 I can use them for other things but correct links would have saved a second visit to the store. Thanks Ana! :)
Love it! I may need to build one for my porch, more for decor purposes than potting. Would make a great buffet table for bonfires and BBQ’s.
Thanks Ana ! You are such an inspiration 👍😘❤️
Absolutely gorgeous, well done 👍
Thank you! 😊
I love all your stuff! You’re a gem!
Thank you for your kindness!
Nice project. That x pattern sure looks great. I think potting is thirsty work, so potting/bar station it is
First thing my son says is "dad you know she building a table on a table" lol
It would make a great coffee bar with the bigger hooks for coffee mugs across the back.
God keep you and your family save
What an adorable project! Thank you for creating and sharing once again. May I ask if you remember where you picked up your safety glasses (with the black rim)? I've looked everywhere but I just can't find it. If you dont remember that's ok!👍👍
So nice I could use that my mom might get one for mothers day
Great video, thanks for sharing 👍🏻
I was hoping to see an up date on the house you started last fall - for resale! Thx!
Absolutely beautiful! I’ll have to add this one to the to do list! Have you ever thought about doing an aquarium stand? That’s on my list as well. Thanks for the awesome plans!

Love this!!! Perfect timing! I need this! ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for this project
It is beautiful!
Great product and video
Thank you!
Very practical and beautiful! What is your trick to install your hooks on a straight line and evenly spaced?
This is lovely. Once it’s finished is it heavy to move around?
Love your content❤❤❤
Thank you!
You have an awesome God gift to explain to dummies!!! Love it I have been trying to find a video that you may have done for Murphy bed can you please show us one!!! 💓💓💓

Cool project

Sandra Moore I was thinking the same thing.

I'm having this same issue as I'm measuring right now to build this
Me too!
Hi, what color is your wall? I think the contrast looks great!
Amazing!
Thanks for watching!
Love this! Can't wait to try it... I have the perfect spot for it.
Super cool 😍
Good Job! Nice Video! Happy November,2022!!!! ; )
Thanks! You too:)
Great video thanks!
Now going to have to add locking castors too
That would be an awesome addition!
Ana, you have 3 - 2x4@48" in your cut list...shouldn't that be 2x6@48" instead? Thanks!
That thru me off too 😟
I thought I was crazy! I haven't started cutting yet because I kept coming out with not enough 2x4s. The table top is 2x6 and the top shelf right? I just want to make sure before I cut.

Hi just wondering, just started the cutting and noticed the shopping list might be off. I think it should be 6 3x4 insted of 3 3x4?
Or is the typo off on the cutting?
I’m going to try to build this as an outdoor bar. I’ve never built anything from scratch and I’m not very handy but it’s a challenge.
I don’t have a sander do you recommend a certain one for little jobs like this? The price ranges are like $250-35 so I didn’t know if it mattered.
Take a look at orbital sanders on Amazon, you can find a decent one for $60 price range. I'm excited for you!
So Cool!! Thanks
Where did you get the metal bucket that you put underneath?
On the leg did the wood split when you put in the screw
GOOD STUFF 👍🏻
What kind of table saw do you guys have
Love it!
