Exactly why it should be there. That many close calls can upset a batsman. But Sanath stuck to his guns and backed himself. That's what makes the opposition nervous. Because he doesn't stop believing. I recall Petersen's Ashes century to be another such hallmark. He was dropped twice but he never gave up and went on to make ton.
