  • We get a lesson on nymph and dry-fly fishing on the Middle Provo River with guide and professional photographer, Jeremy Allan.
He not only teaches us new techniques to catch brown trout, but he also ups our photography game to get good pictures of the fish we catch.

Jeremy is a Great Guide! My wife got me (us) a 4 hour lesson with him. Now I'm hooked! Fly fishing is super enjoyable! We've just got to figure out the magic that Jeremy has, not doing nearly as well on our own but still tons of fun!😁

Great video, guys. Thanks. Mickey, I've seen the videos you've done with Lance Egan. I was wondering how, in your view, the kind of bounce nymphing you do on this video compares with Euro nymphing. In other words, day in, day out, which technique do you think would work best on the Provo?

I would vote for the euro rig.

Didn't see any white infected or dying fish. So I guess that's only below Deer Creek?

This is one hell of a stupid river to fish! Fall is by far the hardest time to fish! the fish just stop eating in the fall, and the river is FULL of swamp salad!
