Triumph Dolomite Sprint @Harewood Hill Climb, Sunday 25th August 2024.

Fastest run @ 72.18 seconds.
Great venue and really well organised...weather closed in in the afternoon and my anticipated challenge to ‪@HamishRacing‬ never materialised as it was colder and all in our class including myself went slower.
Irritated, as seat time has been a lot less than in previous years and consequently I'm driving very scruffily which is reflected in the times: see @30 seconds.
In fairness and as ever, ‪@HamishRacing‬ drove typically well and took about 0.7 seconds out of me to win the class of five and beat me into second place. Not bad whilst driving a well sorted 65 year old car against my 49 year old youngster!
On reflection and not to take anything away from Hamish, that overexuberance at 30 seconds probably cost me the win.....I made him work for it though :)

Great days competition. With everyone doing great times in our class but no one known how good until we are back in the paddock. You are over generous with your praise. My best run was just luck that I put a good run together.
