I'm a 50 something mom of several kids some still younger. I feel more in tune with some of you younger moms because I have a high energy level and still like to keep up with the kids and home and homeschool too. I pray I can stay healthy and keep up with my younger ones for many yrs still. Thanks for the motivation ❤
Cleaning behind the fridge, stove, and deep freeze is so important to prevent fires.

Hannah I feel like the older I get the less urgent spring cleaning is😂. I’m 52. Don’t get me wrong… my house needs it but I can’t be bothered. Is it an age thing? I’m certainly still able bodied.

I'm 70, and I'm doing good to keep my home tidy. I use to scrub every inch of my home at least every other week, but sadly not anymore. 😢
Hi Hannah, I just finished cleaning the whole house. I am drying my last load of towels and now I am going to enjoy your video. I just finished drying the bed pillows. I try to deep clean one room each week so I don’t have a lot of extra spring cleaning to do. My next big cleaning will be to wash the curtains and kitchen cabinets. It seems that those jobs are needed about every three months. With cooking it seems that’s the way it is in my home. I use dryer sheets in my trash cans. I also put them under the sofa cushions. It’s that little extra that helps keep the house smelling fresh. Always enjoy watching. Happy spring cleaning until next time😊.
When I was growing up, we always did spring cleaning & fall cleaning. That’s what I was taught to deep clean my house twice a year. It feels so good when it’s all done. I hate to say it but I never pulled my refrigerator out before to clean behind it. I guess I will add that to the list now. Thank you for sharing with us.
In the midst of Spring Cleaning, started outdoors in the landscaping, removing weeds, planting and mulching. In the house moved the fridge, stove and washer and dryer. One thing I see alot of though is when people clean the inside of their windows, they never get the outside, did that too. Talking about windows I wash the curtains that are washable, and get the rest dry cleaned if needed, do that about 2x's a year♥
i always clean a room top to bottom in clock wise direction. My least favorite job is dusting our 2” wide slat white wood blinds. Sometimes I can just use duster wand ( thanks for recommending), but eventually I need to do each slat, both sides! Ugh! So much work…so now I only do one room a day to lessen the torture😜. I generally do deep cleaning all year, but baseboards need attention and so do curtains ( vacuuming and washing or at least fluffing curtains on air cycle to remove dust, although sometimes I just have to wash, dry and maybe iron.
I love hanging comforters, sheets in the fresh air and sunshine to dry / air out! Even hang our dry pillows in air just to air them. What a difference!

when I was cleaning the back of the fridge I took my hair dryer and put it on the cold setting and blew out the bottom with the vacuum sucking at the same time. it cleaned areas that the vacuum and tooth brush couldn't get too.

For limescale buildup, I use "HG Limescale Remover Concentrate". I use it same as you use the vinegar, but it's way less to none scrubbing 👍🏻 Hope it will help

This was a good reminder of some places I don’t think about that I need to clean like DW filter, back of fridge, etc.
I retired in December so I had a lot of time to plan for spring cleaning. I made a checklist for each room and took my time on each item. The house looks and smells amazing! Now we just need some warm weather (I am in Michigan). I enjoy your videos every week. Thank you for the cleaning motivation!

I struggle so bad with cleaning my shower. It’s similar to yours. Glass door, tiled floor and hard water. I avoid it like the plague. 😅 However, some of these tips I’m going to use. Yes been spring cleaning my house too last 2weeks,I did a room each day top to bottom and Dusted ,washed walls and curtains! I cleaned behind my stove and fridge too, I'm always amazed how dusty and dirty it is but feel good when its done!

Spring cleaning was traditionally started due to soot build up from the fireplace. So even though it's no longer as necessary, it's good to clean up areas we normally miss.
I've been doing a major declutter and cleaning as I go.. we live in the country and we are headed towards cold weather. I recovered 7 dead mice.😝 (5 were babies) Pretty sure I got them all. But if I hadn't decluttered and cleaned up, I wouldn't of known.

hello Hannah I just got done with my spring cleaning with my 19 yr old daughter on Easter since we both had that day off from work. got to go through alot of stuff from my late husband. i just organized on closet so far but have one more to go through here soon
The back of my fridge because it does draw in dust and hair if you have animals, I clean it about every other month because if you don’t, you’ll start seeing water on the floor in front of your refrigerator it will be working harder and sometimes it’ll stop it from working altogether
Everything looks wonderful. I know how important it is to vacuum behind your refrigerator. Dust buildup hampers the motor efficiency. It is also when we change the charcoal water filter for the ice maker. Thanks Hannah you pushed the reset button. Have a great week.

You always have great tips Hannah!! The cotton balls with natural oils for the garbage can is a great idea.😊 I like using white vinegar and baking soda for cleaning my hard water stains too. I mix 3/4 water with 1/4 70% rubbing alcohol for my glass cleaner. Thanks for sharing your home making tips!! Blessings 🙏
I love watching your channel. I myself love to clean and organize my home. May I suggest for cleaning windows and big mirrors to use a Swiffer broom so it will be easier and faster. This helps me a lot.

I made some deep spring cleaning in the kitchen during the Easter break, but I didn't think of moving out the fridge 😅. It's big and can't move it on my own, so next time I have family coming I'll ask for help. I haven't moved it since renovating the kitchen almost three years ago! And I know there will be lots of cat treats underneath.

Hey Hannah. You vacuumed the banking Soda with your normal vacuum. This can break the vacuum. Your Shop vacuum is made for this kind of dust. Sorry for my bad english. I am from Germany ❤

I love baking soda. Its good for so many things like you can drink it I brush my teeth with it, I also clean my glass bake ware with it. I use that pink stuff on my stove top works like a dream. i love your hair so pretty. I haven't cut mine since 1981. Thats when I got in church . Best thing that ever happen to me Lived for God a long time and its been so worth it.

A reminder to those with natural stone counters, I understand you shouldn't use vinegar or other acidic liquids on them bc the surfaces can be damaged and etched over time.

Something I learned with black or bronze shower hardware is to use rainex in the shower, glass and on the hardware right after you've cleaned it when you have hard water. It's for windshields on cars but works great in bathrooms

I'm using some of my vacation time to spring clean. I want total focus 😅 and I will also be doing my usual decluttering.
It’s Easter holidays here in UK, so my children are at home causing havoc in the house 😮. It’s also the last 10 days of Ramadan so deep cleaning/spring cleaning is a must as Eid is fast approaching. Having said that it doesn’t stay clean and tidy for too long with 4 children. Mum life huh. 🤷🏻♀️❤🤣✌🏼

I do the same thing with the baking soda on my mattress. It really does refresh it. I have dogs and cats that take over my bed,sometimes leaving me very little room. 😂. I do it once a month and turn my mattress. Baking soda is my friend with teens and laundry also.

But I noticed something in the Kitchen behind the refrigerator.The bottom base board up against cabinet calking beginning to separate from the wall. Need to be resealed with calk. Summer is coming don’t want ants 🐜 or spiders coming in. I’ve already did my crack inspection around my house 🏡 I was surprised 😮
Great video Hannah! You might already know this, but open your oven door and there are vents that might need cleaning. I didn't know that until one day I open the oven and the vents were completely cover. I don't know if all stoves are like this but mine is. Blessings on your day.

Keep a dish wand filled with dish soap in the shower and clean it when you are in there taking a shower. Do it once a week and you won't get a big build up of the pink stuff. Doing this I don't have to deep clean my shower. Also, vinegar may break down your grout...
