Thank you. I haven't hit a golf ball in almost 10 years, and back then it wasn't very pretty. These five steps will be very helpful as I return to the game.

I would say that if she had discussed excessive arm and hand tension it would have been a more complete video. Proper Golfing (Julian Mellor U.K.) explains and instructs the swing execution as a student of the original (Easiest Swing) by Brian Sparks. Definitely a worthwhile read and watch for those beginners as well as the aging golfer. Julian has continued on to his improved website with a ton of instructional videos. Pure gold.👍🇨🇦👨‍🦳

I live on a farm right next to a golf course. Golfers constantly slice the ball and it land in our cattle pasture and I get hundreds of balls and a lot of space to practice my swing from home. It’s the best spot to be for golf

Once I have my grip, have an idea of rotation, how do I learn how to hit the ball on the face of the club? I have by all accounts, a decent-looking swing. Unfortunately, I do not hit the ball on the face of the club anywhere near consistently. What is the mental, physical process to learn to make regular contact?

Because I swung my golf club like a hockey stick, I would either: hit the ball with perfect contact, completely miss, take a chunk out of the ground, or hit it with the edge of the club.

Make sure you hinge from your upper back too. That's how you stay balanced. Hinge from the hips is terrible advice that leads to early extension trying to counterbalance from the weight that is too far over the golf ball.
