I've never seen one in any mold shop. Probably not robust enough for that kind of work. Would make a hell of a graphite cutting machine though if graphite collection system was added.
what is difference between fanuc 5 axis programming vs. brother 5 axis machine programming??? does brother controller supports all cycles of fanuc?? does brother support all codes of fanuc??? will all program from fanuc will suport brother controller??? does g43.4 and g68.2 is running in brother controller for 5 axis???
If gasoline were USD$4/gallon, how many gallons would you be able to buy after running this machine for an hour, as a practical minimum that makes owning and operating it a sensible investment. On my old Haas VF3, I shoot for 15 gallons/ hour (but in my currency, gas is double that price). Fast rapid speeds reduce time but not wear, so you might be beating the shit out of the machine for nothing if all you watch is the clock.
you drill the hole 83-85 percent of the tapsize, because you need the rest of the percentage to cut the thread, so in a 6mm hole you wouldn't have anything for the m6 threads.
your finished part is not the same part you were making. not only did you not chamfer the part, it doesnt have the marks on it from the hard jaws. nor is your 2nd operation in-line with your 1st.
All you're going to mill with a Brothers machine is Alumium and brass. Don't even think about cutting steel and expect it to be efficient and leave a good surface finish. These machines are over glorified Drill/tap machines.
@@christopherfriedberg6597 Brother machines are trash. They're great if all you want to do is drill holes between 3mm and 9mm. Or take a light endmill cut in plastic.
@@christopherfriedberg6597 Sure. But my real world experience with the machines shape my opinions of them. Have you ever used a brother to machine anything?
I like how, after the tool change, the tool is immediately right there as if it never left the part.
The tool changes are just ridiculous
the only faster toolchanger is from Chiron, which has the same chip to chip time from every pocket to every pocket
How did you pick up the orientation from side 1 to 2?
Not required maybe
Yeah I guess he just eyeballed it, it doesn’t cause any collisions for 2nd op anyway, it’s a demo part for showing the capabilities of the machine
That was the smallest 50mm drill I've ever seen on op2.
Average price? Let’s see if it’s worth it to buy
Hi. What is the machine series suitable to produce die plate & mould base ?

What's the average price ?
average
i think they are about 70 thousandish from the manufacturer

why 5.1mm drill for M6 tap??

thats the predrill size. the other 0.9 is left to produce the threads

It is 100% the same part, watch the vid again. He chamfered it, and the 2nd op either doesnt need to be in line or can be eyeballed within tolerance.
What is clicking, when the spindle goes up or down @7/7:41 ? Sounds like z axis thrust bearing is loose!
I wonder if it's a spindle/axis brake engaging and releasing.
Super machine

Anyone else cringe when he put that finished aluminum diameter in hard jaws?
these machines are only good for soft material, they have no hp and not enough rigidity to cut steel

I cut stainless all the time on mine, love it
@slick73nova The various videos displayed here do NOT support your claims against the machine.
