I have just realized recently that understanding and internalizing rhythmic patterns exercises [L.H. and R.H] are key to hand independence. Please create more of these types of drills. Thank You

Thank you SO much. This was hugely helpful, and it's hard to find really good content that teaches basics of rhythm. I would love to see a full Open Studio course with stuff like this! I know there's the "Mastering Rhythm" course, but something that goes even deeper would be great

Nice, I like the hanon style lesson in the beginning. Theres always people asking to transcribe these wicked complicated bossa nova songs on discord. I'd love to be able to transcribe one day but I like what you said in the beginning about just playing along to recordings for the pocket.

    FYI:
Pro Metronome considers the Rhythm Trainer to be a Pro attribute of their product. So inorder to practice bar-on-bar-off, one needs to subscribe annually at $3.99/year long after they apply the heavy stone that insures your daily grave attendance. Or until every cent has been drained from your debit card or until your credit card is canceled for non-payment.

Gap Click is also a great option for ios+android - $2.99, but very straightforward and a clearer interface than Timeguru (although I think Timeguru has some extra functionality available)

    12:22 WHIPLASH!
BTW Show me the LA drummer who can stay metronomic for 2 minutes with anything. Maybe with one non changing pattern or a simple song they know very well kind of possible but otherwise I think It’s a myth. Especially if you change the bpm of that familiar song slightly I suspect they would gravitate back to the familiar tempo. I want to hear such a drummer stating it, then I would consider to believe it.
