I had a fender blues deluxe reissue from the mid 90’s and it was the great amp I’ve ever owned. This kind of gives me those vibes. It was so loud and clean.
Sounds wonderful to me, here. And I also liked those Ritchie Blackmore signature riffs, presented in a similar "lowgainish" manner, as they probably are - at least on the records!
@@LeonTodd My guess is Player Plus II I love my Alternate Reality Meteora. It’s the most confortable guitar i’ve played. Ergonomic like a jazzmaster but feels like a strat with the strap on. Great over both legs and different from anything else. Hope the new ones ditch tremolo!
Sounds good. I have the Super Reverb Tonemaster and I love it. Can you tell the diff? Barely and on stage in performance you can't. Tell you what I don't miss is lugging the original about
It's a Fender. Clean and on the verge of breakup is what it does. :) If you want distortion, I miss the Pro-Sonic series heads, which I have played through. I think they are hard to find now and the Super-Sonic line has taken over for it. On Fender's U.S. site, the Super-Sonic combo is only about $200 more than the head alone. The head is somewhat expensive at $1500 MSRP, so the combo is probably a better value.
Leon does a better job selling the amp than Fender does with those hipster coffeeshop guys who pop up in my RUclips ads. I can't believe the warmth of the cleans coming out of a digital amp. We've come a long way since those dodgy 00s CyberTwins, haven't we? The self-turning knobs were cool, though!
Hey Leon, any chance you can do a A/B comparison/shootout between the Tone Master Bassman and the Tone Master Super Reverb? C'mon Fender, you can send him one of each!
I understand that tube amps have a lot of parts and labour involved which drives up the cost.. this is just pc boards and speakers there is no way these should be this expensive.
It's all about the weight and - specially - looks. If Fender ever gives the mustang series a tweed look, I'll buy two for stereo. At the price range the Tone Masters are, I rather buy the real thing in the used market and use it as my personal gym work out. I'll mis the power attenuation, thou.
As a guy who plays thru a RI bassman everyday, it just ain't close. Cleans are the same cleans almost any amp gets with a bit of eq, get into any breakup territory and it's not even in the ballpark. To be honest, the Princeton TM isn't close either to an actual tube princeton either- another amp I use frequently. And for the price- that's just ridiculous.
The channel Psionic Audio might have a tip or two on how to get a RI closer to the original if you dig deep enough. EDIT: jusr realized you were comparing yours to the tone master, duh.
It has an effect loop specifically designed for delay. Such as the Boss SDE-3 Dual Digital Delay. Use a Boss CP-1X Compressor in the front end. I have that. It sounds so good I am getting a second amp for stereo delay. I have an RI too. This is close enough to gig with. This is a great amp. It will sell big time.
Sounds alright, but it's ridiculously expensive for a solid state amp that can recreate only one amp. Why not just get a Katana for half the money, and you can do 10 different amps.

It's really boring when you have a guy who really doesn't know how to play doing a demonstration. Just another guy who doesn't know how to play with clean tones. Sounds like a cliche seems lost but as soon as he gets some gain or distortion comes alive. Okay, this is not the way you display amp tones is through someone like that

amazing amp imo !!
the lick starting 1:50 is the coolest thing on the whole YT I think
Fender did a magnificent job; it sounds great and it's so versatile.
Finally! Somebody plays this amp CLEAN. Thank you very much.
The normalizing through the power stages was brilliant. I always wish people would do that and they never do. Sounded indiscernible by the way.
Yep, gets around the "loud is more good" aspect

Ok, I’ve promised both my kidneys for two guitars on separate channels. Do you think Fender would accept my soul in payment for this amp
🤣
i have been wondering how this thing handles pedals. great demo btw
That trip to Fender Australia HQ was THE TRIP.
Player II, Panoverb, Virtuoso, TM Bassman,... more to come?
Yep, one more next week!
@@LeonTodd My guess is Player Plus II

Cool demo. I’d like to see someone do a demo playing a bass through the Bassman to hear its versatility.
That, plus blues harmonica too,
If only marshall could replicate this with their classic amps
No kidding. If Marshall released a power scaling superlead head using an algorithm like UAFX did in the Lion they could probably print money!
Somehow that amp was just made for a Tele. Made my ears do a little doggy twitch when that came on.

Can't lift a real Super above your head one handed!
I need a Bassman in my life.
My god! Someone knows how to play a guitar clean & rocking a Gretsch 🤘keep rocking 🤘and think I will be getting one as I have been waiting for this!
Loved that Gretsch

Fantastic.
I would like to know how it handles distortion with a distortion pedal like the Friedman or EVH distortion ? Will it just Fart out?
It sounds fcking great with the Tele
What’s up LT Rock on bro 🤟🏻
Hope all is well brother!

I think a LOT of R & D went into the development of these Tone Master amps.

dude you made that amp sound like a million bucks ..
It probably costs a million bucks😅. Sounds amazing!
Never thought I'd hear Megadeth being played through a Bassman, but here we are.
I hope we do a live show on friday. Those are fun
I'm overseas at the moment but they'll return soon!
Hi ever the great sound Amazing.
Thanks for listening
Im waiting for an EVH enclosure one lol.

No tube compression sounds dry, even with verb.

You can get a Morgan for the same price.
I’m sorry but do you know what compression is? The amp sounds quite compressed to me. Listen to the transients.
Why do people like that flubby fizzy sound. It's awful
